ME & Staying Offsite the First Night

I called Disney and the CM I talked to said you could use ME even if you don't stay at Disney the first night as long as you go back to the airport. Has anybody ever done this?

Have you ever stayed at a hotel near the airport with free shuttle and shuttled to the hotel and then back to the airport to use ME the next day? If so how did it work out for you?

You will need to find a flight on the day of your WDW room reservation and book ME with that flight information. Don't use your actual flight information or they'll get an error message. It doesn't matter if you're crashing at the airport prior to coming to WDW. Lots of people do this.
