ME questions

We are flying into MCO on a Saturday in Sept. If everything goes smoothly, our flight lands at 7pm. What would be a good estimate of when we should be at our resort? (Not 100% sure yet, but thinking POR) 9pm?

Is there an order to how ME stops at the resorts?

You should be at you resort no latter than 8:30. Its a 35 minute ride from the airport and you bus will usually make no more than 3 stops. DME has mutiple buses going to several resorts and each one usually stops at 3 resorts. Your stops should be SSR, OKW and POR. Not sure with order but that should be the 3 stops.

Average time from walking off the plane to walking off the bus at your resort is ~70minutes, however, it's not unusual to take 90 minutes. This is assuming DME is taking care of your checked luggage. If you plan on collecting your own luggage and bringing it on the bus with you, add another 20 minutes to the time.

If DME is taking care of your luggage, expect it's arrival at your room ~3 hours after you CHECK IN at the resort (therefore 4-4 1/2 hours after you walk off the plane).

Planning to be at the resort 2 hours after walking off the plane is a good budget.

ME buses each make only 3-4 stops, and resorts are grouped together, like the above poster mentioned. This is when you hope for crowds since they'll wait til they have enough people to send that bus -- if you're the only family arriving they won't be taking off right away.

But I agree with the 2 hours -- you should be at your resort by 9 pm.

The last few times we've taken DME to BW, the bus has also gone to POR. So, as you can see, routes change all the time. It's not so much which 'area' the resort is located in, but where along each route it is.

If you land at 7pm, you 'should' be at POR by 8:30ish. But remember, when we give out time estimates, we are estimating from the time you walk out of the gate area, to checkin area at the resort. Not the time you land!!! You could land at 7 but not get off the plane until 7:15ish!!! Depends on where your gate is, traffic on the runway, etc.
If you want to be safe, plan on arriving at POR by 9pm.
