ME question

A couple of the people in our group will be leaving a couple of days ahead of us. Their flight is at 6:45 pm. What time will they have to board ME from the BW to get to the airport in time?

Your DME pickup times are scheduled about three hours before your flight, so their pick up time should be around 3:45pm. However, that is the time the DME bus is scheduled to leave the resort (not arrive). They tell you to be there at least 15 minutes prior to your pick up time with all your bags already claimed from baggage services. Most drivers will not wait on you and once everyone who is there has their bags loaded on the bus, the bus will leave early if it can. I have been on several buses that have left early. If you miss your assigned bus, Disney is under no obligation to put you on another bus. I have also seen people who have missed their assigned bus raising heck to be put on the next bus. If they can accommodate you they might, but if that bus is going to be full by the time it does all it's stops, they will not let you on. I have seen this several times too.

Be sure they are booked for return to MCO via DME. Just because they are listed on the DME reservation doesn't mean they can just show up at the bus for their return to MCO ride.
So...when they get to BW, have them tell the front desk what time their flight is....give flight info...and they should get a notice the night before they head out, telling them what time to be at the bus stop. They will not be allowed on the bus unless they have that confirmation in hand.
In any case, for a 6:45pm flight, they will be given a pickup time of about 3:45...give or take 15 mins either way.

Any or all except one person in the room may leave via Magical Express before check out day.

They will need written confirmation with bus departure time in hand the morning of the day before the day they will ride Magical Express back to the airport. Make last minute additions, changes, corrections, etc. that morning of the day before the day they will ride DME, before heading for the parks.

Shoot to be back at your resort an hour before your DME bus time back to the airport. This will prevent the anxiety and raising hell to get on the bus after yours you missed.

You do understand that this makes absolutely no sense, right??? I'm not sure exactly what you're saying. Very confusing, to say the least.

Basically......just do what I said to begin with. And be back at the resort in time to be at the DME bus stop at least 15 mins prior to the stated pickup time.
