How far before your flight does ME pick you up? Do you have an option to go earlier? If it makes any difference we are going on Jet Blue and are staying at the Poly. We have two kids under 3 so I don't want to be doing the crazy dash if we can avoid it. Also we have breakfast ADRs and I need to know if I should make them earlier or not.

TIA!

when you are leaving to go back?

i had asked them that when i was there.. as long as they have room on the bus back and the driver lets you, you can go earlier..

Your DME bus back to the airport will be roughly 3 hours before your flight.

At least a day in advance, you can modify your DME reservation to be sooner than that if you wish.

You need to be at the platform, carry-ons and kids and all, ready to board 15 minutes before.

If you leave your resort, aim to be back an hour before your bus time.

>>> breakfast ADR's
If your last activity is a meal, better to do that at the airport.

We should have plenty of time then. Our breakfast is at Ohana which is at the resort at 945 and our flight is at 340 pm so we should have plenty of time. So they should pick us up around 12 or will they try to pick us up closer to 1?

For a 3:40 flight departure, you will most likely be picked up around 12:30. Be sure to be out at the DME stop at least 15 mins before the stated time though. The time you are given is the time the bus is supposed to leave..not the time you should amble on over to the stop.
Since you'll be flying on JB, you'll be able to check your bags and get boarding passes right at the Polynesian earlier that morning. That will make life so much easier for you...no need to lug bags to the airport and then stand in line to get boarding passes...just right to security. Be sure to get those checked bags down to the RAC counter early in the day....you need to be completely checked in no less than three hours before flight departure time.
With a 9:45 ADR, you're be fine. My suggestion would be to be all packed and ready to go..then head down to the RAC counter around 9:15ish and get those bags checked. Then head to breakfast for 9:45. Nice, relaxing way to spend your last morning at WDW. Sounds like a great plan.

:rotfl2: thank you - you don't know DH and I we are early for everything for those that know us - we never show up anywhere at the last minute - I can see DH having our bags at the counter at 8 am and we are the type who would be at ME pick up by 12...lol. I just like to be prepared so I know what to expect. If we get picked up at 1230 - that is enough time? When we fly we always get to the airport 2-3 hours before our flight (we are used to long lines out of JFK or LGA) so if we check our bags at the hotel and get boarding passes we should be okay? I don't remember how long it took us in the past (last time we stayed at the hyatt overnight b.c delta messed up our flights and we ended up moving ours a day later b.c we went from a 3pm flight to a 7am flight and we didn't want to lose that extra day) I only remember MCO having HUGE lines for security. I have been flying several times a year since I was 1 but I have only flown once since having DD#1 - so I remember it took much longer to get thru security than it did when it was just DH and I and we could breeze thru.
