Will ME deliver luggage to the resort the night we arrive if we don't take the bus to the resort from MCO until the next day?

Our flight from San Francisco doesn't get into MCO until after 10pm & with 2 small kids, we're thinking about staying at the hotel in the airport that night & then taking ME to Disney the next day. We'll have a small carry on with things we need for the night & next day, but it would be great to have our luggage waiting for us at the resort.
Is this possible? Can we fly in one day & take ME the next, but have our luggage sent over the night before?

Thanks!

Disney does not collect bags after 10pm so you will have to get your bags from the carousel and take them to the hotel that night. The next day you can take the bags to DME and take them on the bus with you.

Everyone who arrives at MCO after 10 p.m. needs to claim their bags at baggage claim, even if they're taking Disney's Magical Express that night and staying at a Disney resort.

Now let's suppose the you're arriving before 10 p.m., but you're staying at the Hyatt in the airport or one of the hotels with shuttle service near the airport the first night. You should still claim your own bags. You're not eligible for DME transportation or luggage transfers until your check-in day. If you use the yellow tags anyway, it MIGHT work. But who knows where your bags would spend the night and who might have access to them?

When your luggage doesn't match up with your reservation you run a LARGE risk of something going wrong. (Disney returning it, it getting lost because the bell guys can't figure out what to do with it etc...)

This just is a great opportunity for your luggage to be lost and no one be responsible!

Do not tag your checked bags. Then get them at baggage claim upon arrival. Take them to the bus with you in the morning.

There is way too much room for error if you tag them and don't get them. Sure, DME workers 'may' collect them the next morning. But do you really want your bags going around and around, unattended, on the baggage carousel that night? Someone may eventually take them to an unclaimed baggage area, but again, do you really want to take that chance? The bags will be sitting there, unattended, for quite awhile, before DME workers get them the next morning.

Thanks for the info. I'd forgotten that ME doesn't collect bags after 10pm & I certainly don't want to loose my bags!
Guess we'll just collect them & take them on the bus with us the next day.
