ME Luggage Tags Arrival?

We leave in 2 weeks - I thought on my last trip I had luggage tags about 3 weeks in advance - nothing yet. Is this normal these days?
I am in Canada - should I be phoning?

We leave in 3 weeks and have not received ours. I called last week [12/9] and they said they were mailed on 12/8. Still have not received them as of today. I would give them a call to see if they have mailed them.

I leave 1/8 and received them Monday. Oddly, my friend is joining me from Toronto and even though she's on the res they said they couldn't sent the tags to Canada and that I'd have to?

Unfortunately the luggage tags are now sent with the magic bands. Because you and I are from Canada, we dont get our magic bands AND luggage tags until we check in. People in the US get the magic bands and luggage tags mailed to them, but Canadians dont. Boo. They use to send them with the magical express booklet, but not anymore. Not sure why they changed it.

You get the luggage tags at check-in even though they're totally useless at that point? Or are you talking about the plastic luggage tags that are now coordinated with the magic bands? Because the OP is talking about the yellow ME tags that let the luggage handlers at MCO know not to put that luggage on the carousel and tell the DME employees which resort the luggage goes to.

ooopsy! My mistake. I didnt realise she meant the ME yellow tags. Those should have been sent to you already. Honestly though, in my experience they've been pretty late sending these to Canadians. I've had them delivered a 1-2 weeks before my trip...one time even TWO DAYS. I'd definitely call.

Yes, thats correct. The poster would definitely have to be the one to send the tags to her friend in toronto.

Thanks - yes the ME yellow tags!!! I was thinking it would be pointless to get those at check in! LOL

I got mine right about 4 weeks out. If you're worried, call and check. I called to request some extras and they said that was no problem, so they can definitely send them if they haven't arrived yet.
