ME - How quickly do you need to check in?

Do you have to check into Magical Express right after your flight lands? Our group is coming from 3 different locations, and one flight gets in about an hour an a half before the rest. Can that person wait for the rest of us to get in and take the same bus as we do, or does he need to go directly to ME?

That person can wait but why? I'd rather wait in the resort. If their name is on the resersation they should be able to checkin. Even if they don't check in waiting in the resort would be a lot more relaxing than waiting in MCO. The only reason to wait would be if the incoming family member needed assistance and even then the airline would assist with a wheelchair.

You can wait if you wish. In other words, you don't have to rush to where ME is located. You can use the restrooms, grab a snack, etc. The process is quite streamlined and very efficient.

Thanks! This will be this person's first time at WDW in over 15 years so I think he will feel more comfortable waiting for the rest of us.

You could also state that you are coming in on a later flight.
