ME end time? Or is it permanent?

When does ME end? We were in WDW last month and loved it and want to go back next year. Just wondering if Disney planning on keeping it going after the Happiest Celebration?

I know this will sound pitifully unconvincing , but I just read somewhere that Disney is planning to continue with Magical Express through 2010 or 2012. . .well. . for a while.

I think you're good for a year from now. I also read (really I did, I just don't remember when or where!) that they plan to keep it a free service as long as they can.

Trust me. . .I believe it!

It was announced in April that ME will be around until at least 2011.

Yes they plan to keep it around but no announcements have been made if they will be charging after 2006.

IMO this is the best decision they have made (money making) for themselves. They basically make people buy everything from them while on vacation (including every $2 bottle of water). Since most people won't have a car or think to stuff the suitcase with food. They are keeping all of the money right here in the park.

Even tho is has not officially been announced whether or not they will eventually charge for ME, we all pay for it in our room rates. We personally still prefer the limo service because of convenience and better service.

It was ABSOLUTELY officially announced that DME will run through 2011 and will remain a complimentary service.

Launched as part of the "Happiest Celebration on Earth," which will conclude later this year, Disney's Magical Express will remain operating as a complimentary service, Disney announced today. The company recently reached an agreement with OIA to continue the program.
