Thanks in advance for replies...I can't believe I don't remember the answer to this...

We are traveling home on SW. I'm thinking ME drops passengers off at the ME area of MCO, not a the various airline bagge check in areas, is that correct? How far away are the SW baggage check in areas from ME at MCO?

We're trying to decide if we want to take a towncar instead of ME.

I appreciate any and all info! Thanks!

Why not check your bags at the resort??? SW is now a participating airline, so you can check your bags right at the resort if you want. The counter opens at 5am, so as long as your flight departs after 8:30am, you can use RAC. You have to be done with your checkin (bags tagged and boarding passes in hand) no less than 3 hrs before flight departure time.

If there is some reason you don't want to, or can't, use RAC,then you will have a slightly longer walk to baggage checkin at the airport if you use DME than if you use a car service. The buses drop you on level 1, whereas car services drop you closer to checkin.

Agree! But if you decide to check your own luggage the distance you have to walk is not far enough to give up a free ride! :)

Thanks! Had absolutely no idea about SW being a participating airline at the resort. Thanks so much for the info!
