ME check out w/ paper ticket?

I found out today, American Airlines mistakenly issued us paper tickets, instead of the eticket I requested. Will I still be able to use the Magical Express check out (get our boarding passes) when we are ready to leave? Thanks for any info.

Did you call American and see if they will re-issue them as e-tickets? I've had do to that once before just because I don't like paper tickets.

Jackos11, I did finally speak with someone today who said it could be done. They said I would have to send in the paper tickets and then they would reissue as eticket. Considering the trouble we have already had, I am a little worried about letting the paper tics out of my hands. Is this how your situation was handled? Did everything go smoothly? Thanks for your advice and help.
