ME and timing question

So, my sis and I are going to WDW for a short trip...Friday to Sunday. We are staying at BLT so we don't plan on renting a car as I usually do. We have never done ME. We aren't checking any bags. How much time does it usually take from the time the plane lands until you are at your resort? I don't want to be losing valuable vacation time waiting and riding. Also, if you don't check bags, can you be picked up at your resort closer to your flight time? I know usually it is 3 hours!! YIKES.

Seventy to ninety minutes inbound from when (most Guests) step off the plane into the terminal until those same Guests step off the DME bus at their respective resorts.

Yes, you STILL need to return to the airport about three hours before your flight departs. Luggage has nothing/little to do with it.

eta: Guests are free to make their own return arrangements - but won't know in advance if there are any other resorts on your route, or about traffic delays, or if something will go wrong with the vehicle, or how long it will take to check in for the flight, or to get through security...
