im worried that one of our family members won't be able to get up the steps onto the bus. He has major hip and knee issues. Would Disney send a van instead of him having to climb up onto the bus?

I would request a bus with a lift. He can use a wheelchair to travel up and down the lift (they usually have one stores under the bus). I do not believe they will provide a van.
