ME and DVC

I am thinking about renting DVC points but I want to make sure that ME is available for people staying on points since I won't be making the reservation through Disney. Has anyone had experience with this?

Yes ME is available to DVC stays. The person you are renting points from will have to arrange it for you with Member Services. You can also purchase the dining plan with no ticket requirements.

I'm a DVC owner and the PP is correct. Last winter my parents and their friends rented some points from us for a stay. I simply called DVC with their flight information and arranged for ME.

Keep in mind that the member will have to make all the arrangements through Member Services. If your flight information changes, they'll have to call back and change it on your reservation.
