MDR vs Buffet on Wonder

On other cruise lines I have been on the food in the buffet was at least as high-quality as what was served in the main dining room.
(sometimes I think it was actually even better quality food)

Is this the case with Disney?

I guess what I'm asking is should we frequent the buffets at dinner a couple of nights or plan on dining in the main dining rooms each evening ?

I think the food is about the same quality-wise, but the atmosphere is totally different. Also, if you stick to the MDRs, you will have the same servers each night and they will really get to know you and your dining preferences. Also, I'm not sure if they serve a buffet at night, or a limited menu- someone else will have to comment on that. (When we sailed on the Magic last summer, dinner was not a buffet...but maybe the Wonder is different.) We were on the Wonder's NYE sailing and wished we could have stayed on longer than a week-- we loved the Wonder!

The "buffet" is not open for dinner on the first and last nights of the cruise. The other nights it is a sit down, served meal for dinner and the menu is a selection of items served in the MDRs. So the quality of food is the same as what is served in the MDRs.
