MDGG--I am the first to post!!!

Okay----here it is, 12:30am, about 12 beers later, I am home from the MDGG! I simply had to come here and post about all the awesome people at this gathering.

First... my deepest thanks to BigKahuna & Mrs. BigKahuna for being our gracious hosts. They were simply wonderful for letting us "trash" their site and sit around and eat, drink, and just be ourselves.

Second.... Gatordad & Mrs. Gatordad, you are just the best & I am totally in love with your kids! Don't forget to get DD the books, "Kingdom Keepers" and "Peter and the Starcatchers" & "Peter and the Shadow Thieves". She will so enjoy them. Pete.... you da man!!!

Third.... AuburnJen & AuburnChris & Lil'Auburn.... it wouldn't have been near as fun without you! Chris...thanks for all your work setting up the Mickey Screen...even tho the rain kept us from using it.

DebbieT11.... we are Sistah's at heart!!! (Your DH is a cutie, too!)

Mike (aka Lisa82 - yeah he really is a dude) and his wife who is actually Lisa, are super people and great makers of Buffalo Wings (and that is from someone who knows her wings!) Love ya guys!!! Edit to add the SoRuls82 family...OMG, how could I leave you out???

Met TigerinBama, Monica & Dean & I'm so sorry that I forgot some of the others...but you know who you are!

What a GREAT GROUP OF FOLKS!!! My life is complete now that I've met you!!

Last, but certainly not least, there is BigDaddyRog!!! YOU are the most wonderfully awesome person on the board! Rog was fashionably late, but we forgave him because he brought the kungaloosh stuff & some mint liqueour that I thought was sooooooo good, and his DW (who should be sainted for puttin' up with Rog-lol-you know I luv ya, dude) made this really outstanding Jambalaya!

We had a simply outstanding time, even if it did rain on & off.

Al --- Pete kept toasting your picture. Ami --- Pete did his best to keep you dry & out of the rain. We toasted "Tarp-Man" , "Disney Donna" and all of those who could not be there. Hell.... we even gave a toast to "Mean Gene" who did not come around and yell at us cause there were 20 eleven carts parked on Steve's site!!!

Contrary to popular belief, MsGus is NOT 84, does NOT have blue hair, but is actually quite youthful (30 something), very pretty, has terrific kids that I would kidnap in a heartbeat, and even after having 5 kids, has a super figure!!!

I'm looking forward to the next GG on the 4th of July!!! Everyone should try to make it if they can! Disboard Campers ROCK!!!

Sounds like a perfectly great time ! A little moisture can't stop the fine folk from the Disboard's from hav'n a great Fort time. We really wanted to be there but just couldn't work it out,,I'm sure enough fun will be had for all of us who couldn't make it. Enjoy,,,and take LOTS of pics!

Well, fun was had by all. I only took a couple of pics but, Rog's wife took a bunch, as well as Mrs. Gatotdad so some should get put up. I left at about 10:30, I'm not sure how long the others stayed. Alot of people had left just before that. Of course it was awesome to meet everyone and finally put some faces to the names. Rock Band was rained out but not the party. plenty of food and drink and a good time was had by all. Many toasts for those no longer with us. Hopefully we will all get together for a TE Porch pic before everyone leaves. The Kahuna's were exellent host for the event. I'll try to post more later and maybe even get a pic or two up.

Well,,,she didn't exactly say how old she was, but she definitly was NOT the image all of us had in our heads of an old lady with blue hair. She DID have some choice things to say about you though, Scott!

All I wanna know is.... why does the entire MrsGus family want to get rid of Haley??? Was she switched at birth? (Poor Haley wasn't there to defend herself, either). Lil Mrs Gus was a hoot - like her mom - and seems to have a crush on this spawn of BDD??

Scott, dude, we need you at the GG on the 4th. If I win lotto, there will be a LOT of people coming to the Fort!!

Outta all the stuff I brought (and took back home), I forgot my stupid camera!! The official photographers seemed to be Mrs. Gatordad & Mrs.BDR. I think Jen got some shots, too. No, she didn't do shots, she left the heavy drinking to us "professionals"!

FtWGuy & RVUsa.... you need to send us your photos so we can have you with us at the 4th of July GG! We'll tack you to a tree just like we did with Al & Ami!

You have NO IDEA how bad I want to be there for the fourth, I have 3 weeks off in July, my last day at work is the 1st.... the problem is this pesky $5 per gallon diesel, we spent $800 in fuel at Christmas and that was when diesel was $3.50 per gallon.

Did they tell you that Haley is coming to live with us ?

BTW.... I have PLENTY of beer left if anyone wants to stop in Polk City, FL for a brewski!!! I drank my 2 year quota last night... so I won't be having anymore for a while!!! The last time I had any beer was 2 years ago when NTSammy5's youngest got married. It's nice to know I haven't lost my touch for mega beer consumption!!

Y'all, had an awesome time... I took a couple photos, and will post them when we return home. Oh, and this morning, we saw "Auburn Jen's husband Chris"....surely that's not his *real* name??? and their son, I think, CJ? I hollered across the street to tell them hello.... how fun!
