Two main questions from me about this new type of planning!

1) I'm wanting to set it up and enter in my details but am confused about the part where it's asking who else I'm planning with. As previously mentioned I'm travelling with my sister, BIL, niece and DF so is there some way I can make plans for DF but just share plans with my sister and co as I imagine they will want to make some of their own plans?

2) Do many people have much experience with going to parks without any FP+ reservations and just trying on the day/day before? My sister is very reluctant to make plans without knowing how my niece (who will be 8months) will be out there with time/heat!

Thanks!

To answer your questions:

1) The easiest way to achieve what you want is to set up your account and add DF. Then have your sister set up her own account. You can then invite your sister and you will be able to see each other's plans.

2) We don't book FPs in advance for everyday but what I do is book all our must do attractions at least once. Then then as we firm plans up while we are there I try to book FPs we want. MK is the easiest to get FPs at IMO. With an 8 mth old I would book all AM FPs. We took DD at 9 months and mornings were always good :goodvibes

Id say at least book some where you think you will probably be for two reasons.

1) if you need to, you can just change them
2) whilst your sis and her little one may go home you may still use them

Some fast passes will be hard to get last minute, such as tsmm so better to have it pencilled in

Im similar to you in point 1. Going with my two pre schoolers and happy tonplan for us but my wifes family (all afults) are coming. If i book fp just for us they wont be able to join us but if i do book for them they are more than likely wanting to do thrill rides. It could be a nightmare trying to cordinate us all last minuteHome

Given an infant of that age can't really ride anything your sister would be much better to just book things. The baby is going to be asleep in a buggy while you do rider swap at all random times of the day realistically. Not booking anything won't change that!

An infant can ride anything without a height limit and our DD did just that at 9 months.

She loved the drop on POTC and she lived Figment especially. The only things without a height limit we didn't bother with was movie type attractions.

We also have some cute photos of her with the characters.

My DD rode everything that didn't have a height restriction age 8 months and loved it all! You don't need to book her an FP so if she is asleep do baby swap

I'm struggling to think of anything that really needs a FPP that an infant would ride. My point anyway wasn't about babies getting on rides. It was about planning a theme park day around a very young baby. Especially one in a different time zone! I think that is like trying to knit fog.

Peter Pan
Winnie the Pooh
POTC
Jungle Cruise
....

Great responses, thank you, you've given me a few things to consider! I will do as suggested and sort myself and DF out and then share with my sis et. al.

If I were suddenly unable to make a FP+ due to leaving a park for instance are you able to cancel it so that it becomes available for others touring?
