I have had up to 3 reservations on MDE however I only ever have one package with tickets on there. I am not linking next August's package until we get back this year.

I like to keep mine on the same MDE so I can use my existing magic bands as I am working towards getting all the colours then I can match them to my outfit

Well I've got 4 rooms on there at the moment, but I've not been overly intelligent because we booked August 2015 and then booking April came later and was sort of spur of the moment... But we have the 14 days ultimate tickets booked for both trips. Could get confusing quite quickly with 14 sets of tickets couldn't it!

I must be delusional too. I'm pleased I'm in good company though. I've just managed to link my reservation for next august using the 6 digit uk booking reference.

Phoned today - an altogether nicer experience.

She explained that the success of the promotion has inundated them - the 12 digit number has not yet been assigned to our booking but that when it has either number should be sufficient to retrieve the booking and complete the link, despite the "200 day limit".

Patience never was a virtue of mine....

Well as per my post a few days ago, I also booked for next year in late April when the 2015 offers came out and I rang up over the weekend and asked for my US reservation number and she just gave it to me over the phone, as well as the alpha numeric one. The call lasted all of 2 minutes, if that. It's not consistent.

I am absolutely certain it depends entirely on who you speak to and whether they know how and where to get the number, rather than it not being available. Why would some bookings have a number generated immediately while others have to wait 6 months when they are all similar, all booked for the same period and all packages through the same company? It makes no sense.

I just called and asked for 13 digit number to link to the app, was told they don't give that anymore only the 6 alphanumeric.

She said as I am booked for 2015 I can't link to MDE yet, it will be around 200 days but some appear earlier.

The alphanumeric will work as well to link to MDE. Some have reported that their original UK 6 digit number eventually works too, although I have never done this and can't comment on it.

If they can give you an alpha numeric reference, take a note of it. Once you link your reservation to MDE and your option to customise MB's shows up, if you look above the MB's your 12 digit number is there.

You want to take a note of this before you do anything to the bands. As soon as you customise them, you can't see it anymore.

Six days after booking, using the six digit number.

At the moment my band is green, and DH is pink in honour of Ireland's part in this year's Giro D'Italia. Wonder how long that will last?
