Ok -- my highly anticipated trip with my sister is getting better with our parents potentially joining us! But now we need help...
My parents have previously gone last in 2015 when all we had to deal with was a simple magic band (old style) and I had done everything through my MDE account -- so I created their profiles on my account using my emails (similar to husband).
Now the world is much more complex....
I have been able to add them to our room reservation (DVC) and they are showing up on my friends and family list. We have not bought them their tickets yet though (we have AP's) and I'm thinking about later at the park -- my parents like to go do their own thing and I would think they'd like the freedom to use MDE to look at wait times or mobile order.
I want them to be able to see wait times and mobile order. We are getting them updated magic bands so the room key and park tickets will be linked there.
So -- what are my options?
1) Create a new MDE for them using their email so they can use the app on their phone? I would have to call IT to transfer their profile to their new MDE right? Are there pitfalls with this?
2) Keep them on my account, when they download the app login with my account info? I see danger all over this with accidental swiping etc.
I see a similar issue with my 15yo wanting his own MDE too -- same process options right?
