Last week-end I ordered the MagicBands for our upcoming Dec trip. One was a premium and I received the order confirmation. I don't know if this "declined" message is connected to the "technical difficulty" message displaying concerning premium bands now being unavailable or not. On Sunday, I also ordered premium MagicBands for our upcoming May trip, and these bands were meant for Christmas presents. Again, I did receive an order confirmation. I went in today to order the MagicBands for the 2nd group's room in May. After much deliberation on which band to get, now I can't get any premium ones. These are also needed for Christmas presents.

Anyone else seeing the "declined" message when you hadn't declined? Anyone have any insight in to the "technical difficulty" issue with ordering premium bands?

It's bad enough trying to make all the decisions necessary to plan out a WDW trip without having Disney's IT mess things up.

I was just in the Disney website section for customizing MagicBands and there was a message that the option wasn't available right now.

I would wait until the website is running again before I called. It seems like Disney is once again having technical problems with their website.

I ordered my premium band, and then needed a CM to refresh my reservation because something weird was happening, and since then, my MDE has said that I have declined new magic bands. I received my premium band about a week later with no issues.

I know people are seeing the plain bands only message. My trip is not for ages, but I ordered and paid for my upgraded band when I saw one I liked (having seem the problems) My MDE says my band will be there to collect, and I printed the receipt in case of problems.
Since I have paid for it, and can prove as much, then they won't be able to only allow a plain band, at least without some kind of restorative action.

The custom bands come and go hourly.
When there are none it can give odd messages.
Did you complete the order for one entire one? As in, everyone on that specific reservation has a band ordered, be it decorative or plain? I'm not sure it will let you do just part of a reservation and come back later to finish the rest on that reservation.

Do they ever change the upgraded bands they offer? I have about 30 days left to order and was wondering if I should wait or take what I can get

Thanks all, most every one has one they like, but a couple of us are hoping for something different

Did this ever "fix" itself for you? I ordered a premium magic band for my upcoming trip, was charged, and now it says I declined as well. Haven't received my magic band and leaving in 18 days.

There’s no control over what bands appear when. When you combine that with how fast they sell out when they do appear it’s a really bad idea to rely on them for a gift. The larger your group the harder it will be for them all to be in stock at once. You only get 1 shot to order the entire parties reservation

I ordered 2 premium bands on November 16th. Charged 11/21. I noticed then that it was saying I declined the bands. They arrived 3 days ago.

I experienced the same issue with booking a trip, ordering magic bands immediately after, and now the site (and app) has me listed as declining magic bands.

Thanks. I ordered mine around the same time frame, so maybe I'll wait a few more days to see if they show up.

Same thing here. It said declined after I ordered, but it arrived. Now just waiting on one more order to arrive.

Magic Band confusion update: Despite the app and site saying I declined Magic Bands for our upcoming trip, I just received word that magic bands have arrived at the house. Now I'm curious which ones were sent: the premium two I ordered or plain ones. :magnify:
