We are traveling in December with 10 family members. We have had group vacations before and I managed everyone from my MDE. This time I have some family members with there own MDE. We are all listed under my reservation. We have linked them where possible. It is somewhat confusing. What am I missing? Can anyone give me suggestions to avoid issues like dinning reservations, liking tickets, park reservations etc. We are traveling in December so we’d have time to work out all the details. Really appreciate any help, Info, tips, .or advice.
Thanks in advance.

I'm not exactly sure what you are needing help with but for our upcoming March trip I had issues linking all the people in my group (they all manage their own MDE) so I finally just called the number in the app and a wonderful person helped link everyone for me. But the issue I was having was when I would try to link one person, it would say it was someone else and link to someone else in the group. Only mine and one other would link correctly.

Thanks for the reply. I figured I would do the same and call to make sure everything was linked correctly. Appreciate the advice!

When we went to Disney in 2019 and had multi-families to link, there were some things easier to do by calling vs. doing online. Certain features worked unpredictably or some in our party had issues that others did not. Calling the Disney 800# was very helpful for us and they were able to 'fix' whatever issues we were having instead of wasting a lot of our time trying to figure out what was wrong. I think it relates to the way some of their IT applications tend to not always work well together.

I have been spending hours on MDE trying to coordinate our trip next month. We have two rooms at CSR with 4 people in one room and 3 people in the other. I can see both reservations on my MDE but on my son's he only sees the 4 people in his room but under his friends and family it doesn't show his wife. Tried linking the other reservation on his MDE but says it is already linked but it doesn't show up.

My DIL's MDE won't let her link any of the hotel reservations. I made plans for all the parks which show up on my MDE but not on my son's or DIL's. Its crazy and makes no sense. My DIL has a Cinderella avatar on her profile but when her name comes up on mine or my son's it has no avatar pic so is the system not recognizing her profile? I am so confused by it all.

I have called 3 days in a row and been on hold over 30 minutes each time when I had to hang up. I love Disney but their websites really are not user friendly. I know I will be on the phone phone a 2 hours trying to sort all this out. There are so many issues with each of our accounts.

I have found it a lot easier to call and have the group all linked. It helps to know reservation numbers & email addresses for the other people in the party who will also be managing the plans

^^ I agree, that was our experience as well. You can spend hours online fiddling with all of the various settings or just call Disney and let them figure it out. In our case, it appears they can see things about how the setup was configured that we could not see online. Or they have a way to view multiple accounts at the same time. If something was setup incorrectly or someone's profile was coded wrong, they are in the best place to fix it. Disney IT applications have lots of issues, so we saved a lot of time and aggravation by calling on things we were unable to do on our own.
