MDE question

Hi. I've always found MDE confusing but I think I'm personally squared away. I think.
However,
A friend has a reservation a few weeks after mine. She linked her and her husband's tickets (4 day PH) to her account and it looks good and her hotel is on there and it looks good but...

When she goes to the plan part it just shows a circle for her and not her husband. Is this because he's over 18? Does he have to make an account and then give her permissions to share or something?

She's worried something isn't quite right and they won't be able to make park reservations. Their reservation is for August 1-7

P.S. Her husband hasn't been for about eight years, before MDE I think.

He doesn't have to have an account. I manage my husband and son; neither have their own accounts. You can choose a picture for each person. If no picture is selected or MDE is acting up, it just shows a blue circle with a darker blue Mickey silhouette and the person's name below the circle.

EDIT: Go to "My Family & Friends" and edit the profile to choose an avatar.

I do the same. Efforts to get my DH involved in Disney planning are always responded to the same way “Babe, you got this.”
