So today is my 180+. Like a good DISer I was up at 5:45am., ready to make my ADRS. 6:00 arrives and I am on it; BOG, 'Ohana, the rest. Except there's one problem! MDE won't allow me to make any reservations after the first day of my resort ressie!

WHY is it still doing this??? At first, I thought it was my browser. I used Chrome, Firefox, etc. Same result. Had to wait till 7am. to do things the "old fashioned way," aka the telephone.

Luckily, I got everything I wanted, but COME ON NOW!

Tried to speak to someone in IT to find out what's up and had a 25 minute wait ahead of me. Umm, nevermind.

Would like to play around with my ADRs but CAN'T becaues even with booked ressies, I STILL can't make anything online past Day 1.

Arrrgh!!

But, I got what I wanted, so all is good.

END OF RANT!

What day did you get BOG? It's giving me an error when I search for that restaurant.

My 180 was Feb 17. used the pc via dis website and it worked fine except it is soooo slow and not intuitive. you have to start from the beginning for each dinner. Halfway through I tried to use the phone app....it was much faster, BUT.... it wouldn't let me get past the 4th or 5thday.
MDE or not, the website where you make the reservations is the same as before. MDE is just where you see them show up once they are complete. That worked fine.

Had problems this morning with both the MDE app & online... I was beyond frustrated at 6am. & 7am... grrrr!
I ended up calling & got my 2 must have's (Wishes Firework Dessert Party & BOG) taken care of without any problem at all... time's I requested & days were my first choice. Will try again later on the app or online for the rest of my list... fingers crossed it works!

P.S. Dear Donald Duck, As much as I love You.. I don't want to see your mug when trying to reserve dining!
Love, Frustrated Dining Planner

I've had all the same problems.

After waking at 545, I still had to call in. So frustrating, because MDE kept showing BOG times starting at 7:15 pm, but I couldn't get any of them because the system would not allow me to make reservations at 180 plus 10, even though I was logged in and my resort reservation is linked.

I booked BOG on the phone this morning, but could only get a time of 8:00 p.m. We decided that was too late, because we wanted to see Wishes. When I got to work, I logged in again, found a Dessert Party reservation, selected to change BOG to that instead and it was an epic fail. Even though MDE said BOG would not be cancelled until I confirmed the replacement reservation, it would not allow me to confirm the dessert party reservation and BOG was cancelled anyway. Now, I have NOTHING! :furious:

On hold now with WDW-DINE.

OP, Sorry you are having issues. That is so frustrating.

I have seen a lot where MDE is just not recognizing the +10 days for some reason. You would think IT could get this figured out.

Hope all works out for you!

My 180 day mark was in December and I had the same issue so it looks like nothing has changed. I ended up leaving it and just booked one for our first day and leaving the rest.

I believe if you go into your itinerary, click on the relevant day and then select 'make a reservation' it works but I am too far into my window now to be able to check that for you.

My 180 day was last Tuesday and I had the same experience! Everyday that passed it allowed me one more day to make reservations.

I had the same issue today so I just have up and called and it was so much faster and easier

Was up to do my 180+10 yesterday and had no problems. I had spent some time in the last few weeks playing around with MDE to make sure I knew how to get things done and I noticed something that I think is causing people problems.

When you are on MDE and look at dining reservations, and you go to the calendar for your date, you have to see the dates of your stay shaded differently than the dates of the days you're not staying at Disney. You'll be able to see that shading regardless if your 180 day mark has yet. You won't be able to make any reservations of course until you hit 180.

I found that when I chose to find dining reservations from the top of the screen under the "Things To Do" title, more often than not, my reservation dates would not be shaded. This seemed to be hit or miss, regardless if I was logged into MDE or not.

If however I went into MDE (on my PC) and chose to "Find a Table" under the "My Plans" section, it would always show the dates of our reservations shaded.

I made all of our 180+7 (since we're only there 8 days and no ADR's on our last day) by 6:30 and got BOG and Cali Grill within 20 minutes of our desired times.

Hope that helps, YMMV of course.

Same for me and very frustrating!!! Called IT about 3 times. All they said, is yes, they have heard of this happening. No solution. Not even an expectation of a solution. They said they didn't know why it happens to some and not others. Like you, I tried several browsers, and even different computers... :(

I called and got what I needed to, but I want to 'play around' also, and can't.

Horrible, isn't it? I also called IT and was told the same. Not happy.:headache:

It still doesn't work today. 180+10 must not apparently be the case anymore. Even when I called the CM couldn't force it. Now this morning it still shows the error it can't search for resrvations at this time. Forget using the MDE App or trying to access on smartphone. Same message. Anyone else having THAT problem too?:rolleyes1

I had this exact same problem November 17th! I was up at 5:45, with my list. I was so excited, but then the +10 part of the 180 days would not ungray. I was quite cranky for the rest of the day. I can't believe I had this issue back 3 months ago, and it is still an issue? :confused3

I'm getting the same error for the last three days of my reservation. I can't get any times to show up ever for those three days. Called IT, they said they'd put in a request to get it fixed, but I don't have high hopes.

This is super helpful, thank you! :thumbsup2

I was up at 545 am today too. I tried MDE on my laptop using safari and got this message "We were unable to check for available tables at this time.
A problem occurred while looking for availability. Please try again later"

I tried on the MDE App on my iphone. It says it is experiencing a "blip" when searching.

I called Disney Dining at 7am and was able to get a ressie at Cali Grill for a party of 8 for 8/28 at 710 (not hte time I wanted but oh well)

I was able to get my parents a ressie at BOG (they are linked to my MDE account) for Friday 8/29 at 550PM, but I was unable to get a ressie for myself for 9/1. I will keep checking until my trip comes (if that is even possible with all the "blips"). It was for dinner after our wedding the night before. I will plan on doing a FP+ lunch there for now.

I got my other reservations over the phone (830 am Tusker and a breakfast at Kouzzina )

I keep trying the app and the website since this morning but still get the same error messages...so not cool. I need to add another dinner ressie for my Dad that I forgot this morning.

In all the times I've booked dining ADRs online & on the App in the past - I never encountered any problems - ever.

Until they released the "new & improved" MDE about a month ago.

MDE needs bug fix updates ASAP. We can only hope their IT department is working on it....

Yesterday was our 180 +10 days. I tried all day yesterday on two different lap tops and all I got were error messages. I ended up calling at 7 am and got BOG for Aug 31st and Sept 2 all other days showed no availability. Tried again today, but still can not get through its either busy or an error message.:confused3:mad:
