MDE - help needed!

Hi All,
Several years ago, my family went as a large group. Each of my 4 kids and their families had their own MDE accounts which were added to my F/F list so that I could manage the vacation but they managed their own accounts. We don't remember how we did that.

Since then, one DS created a new account and will be putting his 5 and 2 year old on it. His wife has her own. His 5 year old and my son were on my F/F list but I deleted them now that he has a new account.

I have made a DVC reservation with everyone's names and, when I go to put in the reservation # in my MDE, the list of guests automatically pops up for me to match to my current F/F list. Of course, everyone is on there except my DS and his children and I am not able to proceed to the next step until they are matched.

Questions:
How do I get DS and his children on my F/F list? Does he need to do something like 'invite' me wtih his new account?
What should he do about his and his 5 year old's magic bands from the previous trip, if they have them?
Should everyone in our group put the reservation # on their MDE? If yes, before or after I enter it in my own MDE with them as F/F?

Also, my DD and her husband, who are also on my F/F list, are going on this trip but on a separate reservation using our DVC. My name is not on the reservation - only DD and her husband.
Do we need to do something with their accounts if we are all trying to get a dining reservaiton, boarding group at HS or something else (FPs are obviously not an issue this trip, as of now)?

We ended up with my husband having duplicate accounts. I called disney for help. They have a team dedicated to mde and if there's a wait, they will call you back. Super easy, they fixed it immediately. Give them a try.

I'm wondering if he puts the reservation # on the MDE that he just created, if we will be connected automatically.

That happened with my friend and I. Are booked DVC for her and her DH then tried to add my three family members. And somehow it created another account for us. Tech support had to fix it. And now her party and mine show us as friends and family and our resort and park reservations are linked.

DS created a new account with a totally different email and password, so it's not at all connected to his previous MDE account.

Nothing changed with my account or with any of my other friends and family.
