MDE Glitch - Try Online Check-in or Call?

Hello DVC Gurus. I rented points through David's and included the 5 people that would be staying in the room. Now, 2 months out, two of the people will no longer be joining us. I was planning to contact David's anyway for a room request so asked if it was possible to drop the two additional people (stupid, I know!). The owner submitted my request and dropped them, but now MDE is showing the wrong 3 people in the room. The 2 that were supposed to be dropped are still there and my son and I are no longer listed. (David's was able to provide a screen shot from the owner showing that the names are correct on what I assume is the DVC booking site.)

I can still see the reservation in my MDE because my husband and my accounts are linked and I was managing the reservation for everyone. I no longer have the option to do online check-in but my husband does. I was reading that sometimes doing online check-in will kind of reset everything so I was wondering if I should have my husband try that or if I should just call. David's provided a Disney number to call to get it corrected, I am just not that excited to wait on the phone for hours if there is an easier way. I just don't know what will happen if my husband checks in with the wrong people on the reservation and it doesn't fix it, and I end up having to call anyway. Would the fact that he tried to do online check-in cause more of an issue when/if I end up calling?
 
Do online check in again. Some times the DVC and MDE don’t talk nice together but that should do the trick!
