MDE down??

They have hanged the IT support number to an automated message appologizing for the outage and explaining that they are upgrading for a more magical experience.

Crazy that it's been down so long
 
I called yesterday afternoon to make a payment because I couldn't do so online. They were unable to take my money because they were in the middle of a "big systems upgrade". They told me to call back in the evening. Clearly they're behind.
 
It's actually been wonky for the last 2 weeks for hotel reservations. I have been making and adding reservations for about 499 days out. I have to add a day at a time. It's been acting up during the entire process.
 

I really feel for you guys trying to make reservations and fastpasses. I would be having a glass of wine if it were me :D

Anyways, it seems like it's back up now.
 
I just managed to get ADR's thru the net, but still cannot get on thru MDE... so if looking for ADR try that way now

That is Disney speak for "it crashed and we have no idea why or how to fix it".
 
Just got in on MDE! Looks like it may be running ... but may also still be some hiccups
 
Tell me about it. I live in CA and am staying offsite Xmas week. I have been having to get up around 2 a.m. EVERY flippin day and I have 2 days left AFTER today. I was up since 2 this morning and finally at 4 my time 7 EST I called and was able to make my one ADR for today. Then when it was in between going in and out I was able to link the ressie on MDE. I haven't been back since. I just hope to god it gets fixed before tomorrow when I have to get up YET again at 2 to make another. I wonder if it is crashing cuz it is 180 days out of the busiest week and too many people or some other reason. I would like to hope that they are not doing a system upgrade during a holiday weekend. That is bogus and I hope to god it doesn't go down while we are in the parks! I guess I will print out all our ADR and FP's times before I leave as a backup :scared:
 
I'm in the park now and it's been kind of crazy with MDE down. The CMs are a bit frazzled but everyone is powering through.

I just was able to log in a bit ago and it seems to be working for us now.

On the positive side, wait times have been very very low today. BTMRR was 25 minutes at 1 pm and Splash was 40 min. So that's been an added bonus.
 
It took me over 6 hours of trying off and on to make a CP ADR, but I did finally get one. I'm wondering if the fact that today is the first day to make ADRs for the CP caused the system to crash. I was able to login to the website, but when I tried to make the ADR I kept getting the "Paws" message. It was very frustrating.
 
MDE was working for me for about 45 minutes or so, and now I'm back to 'sorry for the paws'.

This makes sense about the holiday, because coincidentally I was up at 4 am here in Cali to make 60-day-out Labor Day FPs, as probably were a lot of other people.
So maybe the holidays collided this time in a bad way. Anyhow, ultimately I got what I wanted, but it did take extra patience. I hope your planning goes well, too!
 
Still can't sign into the app on my phone. Anyone else? I put in my password and it gives the loading symbol and then nothing
 
I've been checking resort prices for a few days and we just decided to book (for July 2017). I was using my laptop and could see prices for all the resorts until about 6 pm EST. Then 90% of the resorts weren't showing any prices (instead everything said there was no availability for our dates). My DH got onto his laptop and was able to see prices; he booked our hotel and paid the deposit.

I've been trying to log onto my account (using my laptop) for the past hour and a half. First it said my email and password didn't match. Then it wanted me to update my info. I can get into my profile, but none of my friends are showing up, the hotel reservation (that DH just made and listed me on) doesn't show up, it has my maiden name (and says "Miss" instead of "Mrs" - I've been married 11 years), says I don't have a selected character,... It's like ALL my info except my name and a very old address got erased.
