MDE down for anyone else?

This is from the WDW reddit page:

You can claim Fastpasses that are pre booked, but have no way of confirminf times unless you go try to ride the ride. But you cant get new FPs."

Trying not to panic bc others are experiencing problems as well but I REALLY don't want to be one of those poor unfortunate souls who permanently lose all to their FP+s!

Is it sad that you put poor "unfortunate souls" in your post and I now have the song from The Little Mermaid stuck in my head?
 
The MDE servers went down early this morning as well around 1:30 am. I was in making my FP+ at 12:00 am and was done by 12:15. Around 1:30 I went in to try to tweak a couple times and noticed a couple people from my party went missing. As I tried to change to a different time, all of my data was completely gone. So I went from thinking I was good to go at 12:15 to panic mode until 3:30 am when they came back online. Luckily my data was still in the database; it was just a server issue!
 
I would hate to be a CM in a park right now. They have nothing to do with the problem, but are probably getting slammed.
 

Not working for me either- it's treating me like a new user. No reservations, tickets, friends, dining or fp. My family arrives tomorrow so I hope they get it fixed soon!
 
I got the frazzled Donald Duck as well. Love how it happens at a time when I am actually able to sit down and work on my trip. Hope everyone experiencing this live and still having a good time!
 
Servers down today, but hasn't mattered for me for a while as the app doesn't allow me to switch months to do my planning. Press arrow, nothing happens.
 
Down for me as well. Just reiterates the need to print out all of our things before our trip in September.
 
I try to keep an open mind on most changes to WDW, but I just can't do it with this. I work on a computer based system and dealing with system issues annoys me enough in my regular life to not want to deal with it on vacation. I will do the Mnsshp but am going to otherwise avoid the world until so many problems stop popping up. It just isn't worth the frustration.
 
I can't say I'm a fan of relying THIS much on technology during my vacation. We took a last minute trip in May and FP+ and MDE were both time consuming. My idea of vacation is to put down the phone and focus on family and having fun. The new technology, while awesome in theory, keeps me glued to my screen not only during the planning process but also while I'm physically there. It's far too scheduled, especially with the crowd levels and transportation times. With everyone being forced to schedule things or miss out we miss out on taking our time and enjoying ourselves. I feel like I'm late, I'm late for a very important date every second of my trip.
 
I'm embarrassed that I keep pumping money into this place. If I didn't have a ten year old, I would never go back, and I love the world! Once she is done, I am done. It is unbelievable how poorly this is all running and they have done nothing to fix it. This, with the downtown Disney parking fiasco, a underwhelming new fantasyland, a run-down EPCOT, and a 1/2 day Hollywood a Studios, not to mention all these "private party" extra expenses, Walt is probably doing back-flips in his grave! What a disappointment! :mad:
 
All I can say is they better get this stuff fixed ASAP... and they better have all of the fastpasses saved somewhere... Image what would happen if they all went poof!!!! I think it is time to give confirmation numbers or something...

I know, for one, that I will be beyond furious if anything is lost. Get it together Disney :headache:
 
Yep, the app and website are still down for me. I was grumpy this morning after waking up at 6am to make my MK reservations 30 days out and not getting any for 7DMT (yes, I tried the "single party" technique too)...but now I'm EXTRA grumpy about the app not working. I hope the various Disney media (websites, blogs, podcasts) pick up on this and report on it...this is unacceptable. I work in Healthcare IT, and when there is a major unexpected downtime somewhere, trust me, the rest of the IT community hears about it too.

I can't imagine being at the parks and having this issue right now. I wonder if the kiosks work...
 
I saw that FPs are working in the parks as long as you remember where you were supposed to be.
 
I also had difficulty getting stuff 30 days out. I was able to get 7DMT and exactly (1) pass for A&E by pure luck but who knows if I even have them anymore. I'm a passholder from NJ and it's upsetting that everything is gone at 30 days out. Maybe they should be released in batches to allow more opportunity for everyone to have a chance at them. Even the early runDisney registrations are capped. Maybe FP+ should also be capped weekly or monthly.

Hasn't impacted us as of yet. The ADR we had was still in the system and our fast passes are for later in the afternoon.
Think this is a bigger issue for those of you planning and trying to snag ressies than it is for us.
Anyway hope it's fixed sometime soon.
 
I'm far from being a computer/internet genius, but could it be that a high volume of site traffic on a Saturday morning + the already crappy/wiggy/glitchy website that WDW is known for, be the present problem?

The WDW tech department is run by the three missing dwarves? :rotfl2:
