MDE app question- make it go faster!

Hi, so I begrudgingly updated my MDE app last year (I much preferred the last version) and I am finally used to the lists and filters but I do have one question....

Does anyone know how to set it so i don't have to enter my blasted password every time I open it up? I can only imagine how annoying that will be when I'm in the parks, searching for newly available FPs.... I checked settings but couldn't seem to alter that feature-

If you have an iPhone, you can set it for Touch ID and your fingerprint opens the app rather than needing a password.

I have my Touch ID set for my thumb and index finger and use whichever is easiest at the time.

Yea iPhone, set up Touch ID

If you use it generally on the same wifi with not to long of a break in between, it won't force you to log in again.

And it seems like it got a little better than what is was. Now it seems it only wants you to log in when my account changes like fps and stuff. Before it made you log in even to view wait times and park hours

Thanks to both of you! I will have to see if there is another update I missed- I still have to log in for wait times and stuff.

I will defintely give the touch ID a go!

Set up your Touch ID within Settings on your iPhone. That's how you would set up and use Apple Pay.

Yea check and make sure it's up to date. I just opened the app up just to double check right now and I was able to view wait times and park hours, but once I clicked "fast pass" is when it prompted the sign in

Same for me. MDE really does need to know who you are to be able to alter plans.

Going to piggyback on this helpful thread and ask if anyone knows if this is an issue with Android phones as well? If so, any tips for having it remember my logon?

I am a DL AP and their app half the time will remember my logon. It's not as important with DL since we don't have FP+ but I am planning a trip to WDW this summer so I'd like to be prepared. Thanks!

I just checked my MDE app, and it didn't require me to login at all. I checked my hotel reservation, checked available dining, all was good. It was when I said "give me Dining this place at x time" is when it asked for a password.

My Android phone has a fingerprint reader, I hope Disney programs using that for their app.

Funny, I hated the Touch ID for my phone before, but now that it gets me into MDE sooner it's a whooooole different ballgame! I am such a disney nerd
