Very sorry if there is an existing thread on this.

Four of us went to WDW in July 2011. We had MYW tickets. Even though two were children at the time, we bought 10+ tickets, because there was some promotion -- I think maybe we got them through AAA or something and it was cheaper to buy four adult tickets.

At the end of our stay, I upgraded two of the tickets to include water parks, 10 day, and no expire. I think at the time, not all of us had gone to all parks on all days, so I upgraded the two least used tickets. I have no idea how much is left on each ticket -- I think 5 or 6 days and probably 9 water park visits. Nor do I remember whether these tickets were assigned to any of us in particular. I don't remember if they were connected to biometric data or whether we were required to give names on the tickets. The only think I recall is that one of the two tickets that we upgraded was the one I was using during the trip (because I didn't go to the water parks and so I upgraded my ticket because it would have more entitlements). Neither ticket is signed.

Anyway, that was our last trip. I'm now planning a trip with just my daughter. I'd love to be able to use these tickets. She was 7 during our last trip, and will be 10 now. Amazingly, I was able to add both tickets to MDE using the information on the back of them. I was able to assign one to my daughter and one to me. MDE does not show me how many entitlements are left on each ticket. I tested whether I could book fastpasses for both of us and I can.

So, my question is, what's going to happen when I show up? What I'm concerned about is that I won't be able to use these tickets when I get to WDW. For example, what if the ticket I assigned to me actually was my wife's ticket last time and that's somehow recorded by WDW (either with biometric data or because we gave names for each ticket or something) or what if the ticket I currently have assigned to my daughter actually was my son's (which I think is very possible)? Since both tickets are 10+, I could see them being skeptical that one of them was my daughter's ticket in the past, since she was only 7 at the time (and it's possible that in fact it was not her ticket, though I just don't know.) If I show up and I have to buy a new ticket and not use these, that's fine -- I'm not looking to break any rules. But what I'm worried about is that if I end up having to do that, I won't be able to use my pre-assigned fastpasses, because I will be using a ticket that's different from the one I had linked to the account when I booked the fastpasses. Sorry if this is unduly convoluted -- the last time I planned a WDW trip was 2011 and MDE and fp+ is very new to me, as is the interplay between MDE, wristbands, and old no-expire tickets.

So, only two of the four tickets are No Expire tickets.

Book FPs for the two tickets you have linked. Continue booking FPs for each consecutive day until the system alerts that you no longer have entitlements. That will give you the total number of entitlements for each ticket. Cancel all FPs after you have written the # of entitlements on each park ticket.

Link the other two tickets and check if the system allows you to book FPs. If the system does allow you to book FPs with those two tickets, you'll need to call Disney ticketing to have them give you info as to how to determine which ticket is which.

If the FP system doesn't allow you to book FPs for the last two tixkets, then you know the first two tickets are the correct No Expire tickets. At the park entrance, tap your ticket and see if the biometric matches. If it doesn't, then it is your daughter's. If neither biometric matches, the CM will call an iPad CM to assist you. If the iPad CM can't assist you, you'll be sent to Guest Relations.

I actually only have two tickets. The other two expired so I threw them away.

Ok, good idae on how to check park days. But what I'm worried about is showing up and not having the finger match for my daughter because it was my son's ticket, so they tell me to buy her a ticket. In that event, I guess I'm out of luck with fastpasses on her ticket. That's my real concern.
