MDE and multiple reservations?

So, we have a trip in August (17 days!!!). Everything is set up in MDE. We have our ADR's, FP+'s, etc...so far, so good....(knock on wood).

Now that the 2015 rates are out, I am itching to book our April 2015 trip, but I am afraid that adding another reservation to MDE will be the downfall of it all!!! Like, System overload!!! :rotfl:

Does anyone have any experience with having simultaneous reservations in MDE? I don't want my FP's to start attaching themselves to the new reservation or something like that (though I don't think they can, since the new trip is well over 60 days away....)

Thoughts? Or should I just wait until our August trip is over? I just want to book right away so I can be sure my mil discount is available...

I've book multiple trips and had no issues with MDE.

I had a Fall/Halloween 2013 trip booked and then added a Christmas 2013 trip. Shortly after I returned from the Fall trip, I book an April 2014 trip. So I had two trips in the system until I returned from the Christmas trip.

The system had no problems keeping the resort reservations and ADRs separate. I was able to make changes as I needed. It all worked perfect! :thumbsup2

I mean really anything is possible with MDE, but so far so good for me in terms of having multiple trips linked to my account. I have had four trips at one time booked that I have changed dates with, cancelled, rebooked, added and deleted days to. Two were packages with dining and two were a room only.

Right now we have a room only reservation and a package booked for next month and we also have a package booked for December. I'm sure I will be changing the dates and possibly the resort with my December stay. :crazy2:

I think it should be fine. I wouldn't worry about it, but I understand not wanting to mess with your August trip just in case.

I currently have two trips in the system (Aug 21-24) and (Sept 14-21) with fast passes booked and haven't had any issues.

I currently have 3 trips booked for the same dates - unsure yet which resort & room category we want and didn't want to lose out on the discounted price. DME shows the 3 reservations separately, MBs separate, and park tickets separate. As long as you click on the correct reservation, I don't see there being a problem.

No issues here either.. have had up to 3 resort reservations at once with FP for next trip
