Is anyone else having a problem with MDE not searching for times properly?

I am trying to book BOG.
It keeps telling me that it can't search at the moment and that it is having a problem, then as soon as it hits 12pm it says it is fully booked?!? Very frustrating.
I have tried phoning and am having no luck as I am staying offsite.

I managed to get a 9pm table on a day I didn't really want, but I will keep it if I can't get a better time.

It's so glitchy - I managed to book 0 ADRs out of 18 nights online which I thought was quite a spectacular fail tbh! But, I did get pretty much what I wanted by phoning.

I have even tried to change the odd time (within 180 days too) and it won't even let me do that! I've given up now and would always call first even though it can be a faff as you have to repeat all your details each time! I am staying onsite though.

What are you trying to book at BOG - dinner or lunch? It is a busy restaurant!!

It has been a bit on and off for me searching but I have only really been browsing as we are staying onsite and although it will show times for 180+10, it won't let you book them. During my looking I have noticed that BOG is often already booked up by the time 180 days comes. Sometimes I do see times available even for relatively near dates so it would be worth just keeping on looking.

I managed to book each of our adrs one day at a time using MDE. We got all our times except bog! It offered a much later time than we wanted, but took it. Most folks seem to ring, doing one each day was quite exciting.

I have booked a few online including 1900 Park Fare and Via Napoli. It seemed to work fine when I tried it, although I was probably over the 180 day mark.

We are trying to book an evening meal. We ate there last year and was an all round family fave and we would love to go again. Last year we were on the deluxe DDP and stayed onsite. Easy for bookings. This year is our first year off site and we are discovering all the stresses of that lol.

The 180 without the +10 is a teeny bit frustrating, but as we are only going to book a couple of meals this time, its not too stressful. We have decided to book BOG and then pick one meal each after that.

DS(15) - rainforest cafe
DH - Boma for brekkie
DD(14) - not yet decided!
Me - Tomorrow terrace dessert party

It is our first time without the dining plan too, so we are planning on a completely new experience..... exciting times!!

I think dinner is very popular. I was able to get our booking but it was 10 mins out (no big problem) and that was towards the end of our 180+10 in the end, so even then I couldn't get the exact time I'd been hoping for! I think BOG is a little up in the air atm with the change to lunch happening shortly too - I believe it's going from a FP to an ADR from this week! Would that be an option for you if you can't get dinner?

I hope you do manage to get booked up - as a pp says, keep trying. I've read of quite a few people who have bagged an ADR much nearer to the actual date.

Your meals sound nice. As much as I am looking forward to doing all these TS meals, on the other hand, I do feel we are going to be constantly clock watching for them! We aren't doing one every day as we are doing 2, 2 TS meals. But even then, it just seems a lot! My girls won't complain as we are packing in the character meals .

We have been 3 times previously and each time on the deluxe DDP. We like our leisurely breakfast buffets and also use up our credits with 2TS dining experiences. It really is a great way to experience lots of different dining options and some of the dinner shows. We have loved it in the past.
We didn't feel too pressed for time as we managed to keep some meals a little more spontaneous, particularly once the US kids have gone back to school mid august. We booked up our must do's that we knew we would need the 180+10 for. BOG was one of those and a few of the charter dining ones. We felt slightly more under pressure with the FP+ and managed to miss a couple of them, fortunately they were rides that had loads of FP left to pick up as 4th/5th FPs.

BOG really was a wonderful experience (although service was rather slow) and the food was delicious.
We have sneaked a 9pm booking, but it is a little late for us. We are going to hold on to it, just in case we can't get an earlier slot on another day, but at least it is something!!

We are looking forward to making different memories this time and having never eaten OOP we are excited to try some new things. Dole whip float was our new thing last year!! And this year we are keen to pop into France and grab a snack from the bakery there.
Our daughter has Coeliac Disease so wheat/gluten avoidance is quite tricky when eating on the hop (and it makes me a little nervous, that we may not be able to find something for her), so we always have a quick look at the menus before we go and then only go to the places that can serve her. We made the mistake of trying to eat breakfast in DHS from a QS and that was a disaster. It was probably the worst experience we have had in 3 visits. Fortunately they managed to find her something to eat, but we were on the verge of heading back to the hotel, so she could eat. Disney have always been so amazing with allergies that it didn't occur to us that there would be somewhere on site that couldn't give us the same level of customer service.

If all else fails for your ADRs ring Disney here in the uk on 0800 1690730 and select option 3 to speak to a helpful friendly CM who can help you do them.

I have had to phone for all of my ADRs as I haven't been able to book one on the online system - so frustrating!

At least some folks are able to get them organised with the lovely CMs and the ADR system through their access points, its a start..

I posted on another thread that ADR booking through MDE was working for me :)
Mine was working too at 10:45 pm on Wednesday, it did take quite a while to sort itself out though and then there were more "system enhancements" going on yesterday but eventually that was resolved too.
