I think I need two accounts- but wanted advice.
My son will be with a school trip in November. They will get 4 single day passes.
Does my son need his own MDE. My husband and I may get hoppers for 3 days or get the same single day 4 ticket.

My preference is we share MDE account.

If we want to ride Star Wars and if I am purchasing- would 1 buy 2 tickets on my MDE and he get 1 on his? How do we plan it to ride together.

If he is old enough for this sort of trip he must already have dozens of accounts of his own, why do you need control over this one? As friends and family you can do tickets, hotels and make ride and dining reservations for him.

And are you saying your DH won’t have an account? Oof. Sometimes a person gets locked out of their Disney account because Disney IT sucks. Usually in the middle of your trip is when Disney starts the pw reset crap. At least if DH has an account he can log into there would be a backup. It’s literally NBD. Link as friends and family. There is no reason for 2 grown adults to be sharing a Disney account. Linked you can even pull up each others tickets.

Please close this thread. I need help on how to combine MDE share friends account- I will call Disney this weekend.

I know this was not part of your question but both my kids did school trips there for years, and my DS is now a coach who has been taking kids on school trips to Disney or Universal for 15 years.

When they are on the bus going to Orlando he helps all the kids who don't have an MDE to set it up.

They are not given tickets in advance to load or do anything with like LL, so anyone who is Friends & Family will not see their tickets either. They are given the ticket on the way to the park. They then load the ticket in to MDE. So they are not visible to anyone until day of. You might want to verify with the school how the tickets will be distributed.
