MCO to YYZ via Ottawa - where do you go through customs?

Flying home to Toronto with a 3 h layover in Ottawa over the Xmas break (Dec 30).
Do we go through customs in Ottawa? Or still in Pearson?

Ottawa. Customs is always point of entry*.

*Technically not 'always' but the exceptions to that rule would never involve flying from the USA.

You will clear Canada Customs in Ottawa. A 3 hour layover should be plenty of time. Ottawa is a relatively small airport, especially when you consider that it is the national capital. Just one terminal, with one part separated off for US departures: https://yow.ca/en

You will be through security within 20 minutes in Ottawa and that's if you're last off the plane. It is really quick, usually.

That's a bonus for us considering how much of a gong show customs/security seems to be at YYZ!
