We are arriving in Orlando at 2:25pm on a Friday (Nov 4th). We normally take 528 to I4 to WBC. By the time that we get our luggage and car, it probably be 3:15pm. Traffic on I4 might be crazy because of rush hour and the construction. How would it be if we got off 528 at International drive and took that to WBC? What about taking 528 to Palm Pkwy and taking that to WBC? I know that we could take 417 but I am worried about non-manned toll booths.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek?
Ahhh, could be! My mental search did not extend beyond Disney properties.

OP, all toll booths on 417 between OIA & WDW have change-making attendants 24x7, as long as you don't get off at Osceola Pkwy. You would most likely want to get off at the I-Drive/Epcot exit for WBC (if it's what we think it is.)

528 does not connect with Palm Pkwy. (which is Turkey Lake Rd. up there.) But you could take I-Drive south and cut across past Sea World. I don't know how traffic is on S. I-Drive at rush hour.

If you have a smart phone with data, you might want to ask Google or Waze for directions when you're at the airport, to get updated traffic info. Even 417 can get backed up at that hour if there's an incident. The I-4 construction is all north of 528, but there is also widening going along 528 west of the Turnpike.

I definitely prefer to take 417 south from the airport. During our nearly 20 trips I have never seen any trouble with slow traffic taking this route. There are two toll plazas which charge $1.50 each. These toll booths will definitely be manned at this time of day. You will be looking for exit 6, as joelkfl said, the I-Drive/Epcot exit. This will become road 536.. after a couple stop lights you cross 535 which I think is also called Apoka-Vineland. Continue on 536 which will also/later be called Epcot Center Drive. You want to be in the right lane as you pass under the Disney "Where Dreams Come True" sign so you don't miss the exit (right after the arch). . As you go up the exit ramp , move to lane furthest to the left. Take a left on to Buena Vista Drive at the top of the ramp. Chelonia Parkway to Bonnett Creek will be a left turn at either the first or second set of stoplights.

Thanks for the info. I would guess it will be easier to take 417 going back to the airport. I have to take my son there on Thursday to get a 6pm flight. I'm thinking that I will leave BC at 3:30pm. Should that be good?

Yes, 417 back is quick and easy. as you leave BC stay in the right lane and it exits Buena Vista Drive almost immediately to return to 536. I have been reading that security lines at MCO have been slow. That would have me more concerned than the drive. I plan 45 min to drive. It probably does take more like 30. I think the airport exit is #19?? New construction... I missed my exit in January when the signs were covered and I second guessed myself. In April the new area was open.
