I am looking for transportation from MCO to CBR for two adults and two kids in car seats, (maybe one in a booster instead, our oldest is just under 40 lbs. right now.)

I am wondering what is other people's experience or opinion on using a towncar service from the airport to MCO with two adults and two kids in carseats.

We were told by Tiffany that we would have to get the van, there was not enough room in the towncar for all of us. Of course this is more expensive. Do all the other towncar services charge more for their vans? Who's is the nicest/cheapest/offers free car seats and grocery stop/etc.?

Has anyone used a towncar (not van) for a family situation like ours? Or if we do have to go up to a van, what are they like inside? I am hoping for $100 they are MUCH better than the usual shuttle vans from airports that hotels tend to offer.

Thanks!

I've been in your situation, and have been told the same thing. I was told, and can believe it, that with two car seats in the back (ragardless if one is a booster) that there isn't much room left in between for an average sized adult to ride. Since they can't be sure about the size of yourself and your DH, they require you to book the larger vehicle to fit everyone, so they don't find themselves at the airport with too small a vehicle. This happens to us all the time trying to get to/from the airport here as well as at MCO. A towncar isn't all that big in back (used to ride in them all time for work), and two car seats will take up the majority of the room, leaving not much space in back. We've generally given up with getting a car, since it's so expensive and usually rent a car. After figuring out the cost of a van and adding tips and such, it's usually only a few more $$$ to get a full-size car and have our own transportation. I'd guess all car services would charge more for a van, since they are bigger vehicles and can carry more people to their destination. I have been in a van used by a car service ( not by an Orlando one), and they are your typical 9 passenger van. Think minivan, with more seats, that's all they are, so the hotel shuttles usually provided are usually plusher.

We went TTC in 1999, and nothing was mentioned about not having enough room. It was my wife and myself along with a 2 and 4 yr. old. They provided 2 car seats, my wife sat in the back with the kids, and I sat in the front. It could be that it was a little cramped, but we were probably just too excited about getting to WDW to notice.
