We are JetBlue folks and have not been to the parks since the new terminal opened at MCO. Going to be flying down at the end of May. How has it been logistically speaking compared to the old terminal? The only thing I’ve heard is that it’s huge. We’re not renting a car, but plan to book Tiffany Town Car to get to the Poly.

IMO, the new terminal is incredible, its super modern and spacious, everything is brand new. Be sure to inform Tiffany that you need to be picked up at a Terminal C and they will go directly there. I know logistically there have been some opening pains as with any new facility, I imagine that by the time you visit next year most of those kinks will have been worked out by then..

I'm also curious about people's experiences as I'm flying in/out of terminal C for the first time in a couple of weeks.

What I've heard so far is that that rideshare can pickup/drop off at terminal C, and that the walk from the gates to baggage can be pretty long.

The negatives I’ve heard were, it’s a long walk to baggage claim and there seems to be a flaw in the system of the bags getting there…. Multiple people I’ve seen have reported waiting over an hour for their bags to arrive at baggage claim. I won’t be there until April though so those are just things I’ve been reading here.

I recently flew in using JetBlue into Terminal C, so here's my experience:

I had booked Mears town car for ground transportation and we only had carryon, so I was told to go up to level 6 in the terminal to meet the driver.

There is a long walk to the gates, so unless you are great at running if you are running late, avoid cutting yourself short on time to get to your gate for the day you fly home.

There are some great food options post-security, which is greatly appreciated. There's a diner by Art Smith, Einstein Bagels, Starbucks, and other places that I didn't catch the names of.

I ducked into the Universal store and that's pretty cool, especially with the dragon roaring every now and then from the second floor, which is dedicated to Harry Potter stuff.

Considering I had to stay there for several hours due to my flight being delayed constantly, I'm glad it was that terminal and not the others.

Yup, it’s BIG! Folks have said it so consider yourself warned and wear your comfy shoes. I normally use a scooter at the parks but have always walked the airports… for the first time I’m thinking I may request wheelchair transport for my next trip.

The bag drop off for Jet Blue was backed up and poorly organized. Spoke to several people who said none of the many new kiosks would take a credit card… agents assisting were taking them to one old machine in the back which they had kept. Wasn’t an issue for me but saw several very frustrated passengers.

Love the food/shopping options after security, which was much easier than terminals A and B. It’s shiny and new and for now comfortably uncrowned… well except for the Starbucks line!

I‘m used to walking long distances to the gate for short hop flights…some of the JFK terminals can be a marathon! We are true believers in getting to the airport early so we will make sure to give ourselves enough time.

Fortunately I get free checked bags because I have the JB Plus credit card. But I would hope these sorts of kinks will be worked out by next summer.

I‘m glad to hear about all the better food options too, I am not at all a fan of the food court in the old terminal (I am too spoiled by the one in T5 at JFK) and remember standing in more than one interminable line for that Burger King because it was the only thing near any gates. Love Art Smith.

I used Terminal C both ways 4 weeks ago. Yes, long walk from gates to bagagge. Lots of plain white walls along that walk, would love to see some local artists brought in to liven it up. Yay to more family rest rooms, I have my son in a WC to push to the baggage claim, by the time we got there, our bags were there. LOL. Oddly you go UP to baggage claim not down. The app I used for a ride (forget if it was Lyft or Uber) gave incorrect info for where to be picked up. I followed the signs and it was right outside the baggage claim doors. Easy.

On the return, most food locations were still not opened (Dec 4) and I waited 45 minutes for bagels at Einsteins. I saved them to eat on the flight, and to my surprise, NO seats left to wait for the flight. People were sitting on the floor, so I did the same. The terminal is odd because there are only gates on one side too. It would help if they added benches along that blank wall across from the gates. I did like the big screen thing on 3 sides near the Disneystore. It is fascinating.

So my first impression was kinda unfavorable overall. I think it will get a bit better once they open more food locations and stores. I am probably going to use this terminal often, we usually fly JetBlue to MCO. I am excited to see the new Newark EWR terminal next trip. After many delays, we get that in January, FINALLY.

We are flying JetBlue in late Jan 2023 - I assume it will arrive in Terminal C. We will not have any checked luggage - carry on only.

I have not booked ground transport yet - if we do a town car or rideshare, will it pick up at Terminal C or do we have to go to the main terminals? Any recommendations for reduced walking are appreciated, since I haven't booked anything yet.

Being able to provide two (2) car seats is appreciated, but we can manage without them (by bringing our own, which I'd prefer not to do). I realize that would be a pre-booked towncar or Minnie Van (which, I don't think we qualify for).

We had a town car for our transportation and it picked us up at Terminal C.

I did see some kind of little cart transport people to the gates while we were waiting for our flight, but I'm not sure where you would get it and it moved really slow. There were delays, so people spilled over from the seating area and the cart had to beep its horn to get people to move.

Thanks. Would you mind sharing the town car/transportation you selected? Open to any options.

Nice building BUT:
I arrived, walked the long distance to baggage claim. It took 30 minutes for the bags to start to come, which an employee told me was typical for Terminal C. Then the real fun began.
I had to pick up my Thrifty rental car in Terminal A. To do that, I had to walk through Terminal C, then B, catch the "train," walk through A, and then get the car. All the time shlepping a 49 pound checked bag, carry on bag, and camera bag.
Return trip was the same; returned in A, hiked through B and C. When I got to JetBlue, I asked about this. Before I could finish my sentence, the JetBlue customer relations person said, "No, there is no shorter way"!
The only up side was the much shorter line at TSA at C than at A or B--both of which I saw during my return excursion.

I've had relatives and friends come back recently and said same thing. Basically awful if you are renting
a car. We will be there next year twice so hope the new rental car booths will be up and running but
I am not holding my breath.

Hello everyone!

Any recent experiences in terminal c? Are Wait Times for luggages still a disaster?
I’ll fly there later in april and I’m curious to know how things are going (will have to do customs too since I’ll attive from europe).

Thank you!
