I'm having a big brain fade. Is MCO and Orlando International one and the same? I'm renting a car (finally got my EA number) and wondering if I've chosen the right "place".

Thanks!

thank you! I thought there was more than one Orlando airport. I'll be okay. It's only 54 days and counting!

Orlando Intl. was formerly known as McCoy Field, thus the MCO.
:D

There is another Orlando area airport at Sanford, FL which is on the northern outskirts of Orlando.

Thanks for the scoop on MCO, we were wondering why they used those letters.

A little further info...
McCoy Field was an Air Force base known as McCoy Air Force Base until 1974 when it was closed. The land was given to the city and in 1975, the airport was opened to the public.
