We stayed at the MCO Hyatt before our cruise in 2013 and my memory is pretty foggy. Is there anything special I need to do to ensure our luggage is picked up in our hotel room or can I just mention it when I check in? I did book transfers through Disney. Also, is $189/night a good price or should I keep checking to see if the price drops (wishful thinking, I know)?

When you check in just be sure to mention it to the desk clerk. You'll receive a letter with a small, tear off form to fill out and turn in the next morning at the DCL transfer desk.

We stayed there last month before our cruise. I checked one month before our cruise and the price dropped $20 so I rebooked. You may also want to join Hyatt rewards program because you can get a lower price.

You can check to see if it is the Hyatt Regency MCO by comparing the photos. Again, it is not always there but sometimes it is for less.

If you belong to AAA, they have a discount that gave us a good rate last time we stayed.
