MCO food options at 5:30-6:00am

We have 8am flights out of MCO. We will be riding ME to the airport so we will get their early. We hope to eat breakfast before we board. What food options will be open that early, preferably at the gates after we get through securit ? Thanks for your help.

We just had breakfast at McDonald's there in the airport at 6 AM. There's a bunch of fast food places open at that time of morning. This was through security but not "at the gates". It was in that big concourse that you walk through to get to the gates.

There are also restaurants/shopping before you go thru security. There is a large food court area between terminal A and B.

If you go out to the B side, there's limited choices - we had to pick between Burger King and Starbucks for breakfast items when we were there yesterday morning at the same time you're talking about. I was thinking there was a McDonald's but that was on the A side when we flew Southwest. DS was hoping for one of the cinnamon melts but had to settle for french toast sticks instead!

We will also be on B side and was really wanting something more than Burger King and Starbucks. I guess we will grab food in the main court, head through security, and get drinks to go with our meals on the other side.
