MCO express/priority security lanes

I'm considering buying JetBlue's "Even More Speed" option (they now allow you to purchase just that option without also buying the "Even More Space" seating), which gets you access to the priority security lanes. However, I have seen some conflicting information here and on frequent flyer sites about how much time that would actually save at MCO.
Has anyone used the express security lanes at MCO lately? Do they have their own scanners?

I purchased the "Even More Space" seats in December both from Boston to Orlando and back. In Boston the security piece didn't matter because the line was short to begin with (we always take an early am flight) so no added benefit there.

In Orlando for the flight home it made a HUGE difference. We bypassed a very, very long line and zipped right through. It was a great thing!

We like the EMS seats so there was a benefit there for us so all in all we liked it. The comfort in knowing that once you get to the airport that you can bypass the standard security is worth it in itself in my humble opinion.
