I just booked our flights to Orlando :cloud9: and we will be able to use DME one last time  DD and I are flying very early in the morning and will be arriving about 9:30AM. DH won't be joining us for a few hours, his anticipated landing time is approximately 1:30PM. Which leads me to my question: should DD and I hop on the DME without husband and get to our resort for some exploration and/or pool time? Or should we hang around the airport until he lands? DD will be almost 3 when we travel, and I'm anticipating she will still need a nap (hopefully she will stroller or DME nap since I know we can't get into our room until 3pm)

Call them ahead of time and let them know of the different flight information, but there's no reason for you to be hanging around the airport.

Sometimes rooms are ready early. You can indicate your anticipated arrival time with online check in.

There is no bag service, so as long as you can manage your bags and DD (and a stroller?) -- definitely head to the resort rather than hanging around the airport.

I vote with the others: resort! Have everything you need for the pool/naps in your carryon. It will be much easier to keep your son occupied at the resort, plus what if your husband is delayed?

As someone who has spent 3 hours landside at MCO, I'd have much rather been anywhere else. I don't think a 3 year old would feel any different.

Could you travel with just a carryon/ back pack and leave the rest of the bags to travel with DH? That way your hands are almost free to deal with stroller and child.

Or is he coming in from different location?

Luckily, husband will be the one with the bags. It will just be me, DD, stroller, and our backpacks.

Yep! This is our plan.
