McDs by All Stars?

OK, so it barely qualifies as a restaurant.

I've seen a few references to a McDs near the All Star's resort. How close is it really? Would it be possible to get to it without a car? If I remember WDW counter service right, McDs will be looking pretty good after a couple of days.......

We didn't go there when we stayed at ASSports, but we saw several people walking there. Probably about a 5-10 minute walk.

IMHO if you are staying at the ASSP you could walk it. But, as for the ASMU and Movies quite a bit of a walk after a day in the parks. My husband or I one would drive out while the kids were in the pool. It only took a few minutes. If you walked I would think your food would not be much by the time you got back to the resort.

We stayed at ASSP and thought about walking but there is a big part of the walk that doesn't have sidewalks. We saw a few folks walking in the street, but I didn't think it was a good idea!

We actually like the food court at ASSP! But then again, we hate McD's!!!!

Harambe--how about salads at the food court? I really like McDs new salads........

Yes, you can walk it to the Assp... In fact the CM's parking lot for the Assp hotel is right near there...

Okay salads at the food court! I will admit, I have had a good chicken ceasar salad from McD's!

Of course, you will save some money going to McD's at least a few times. Food court is reasonable for Disney, but not cheap!

But buy your refillable mugs at the food court!

In AK at Donald's they serve McDonald's products. French fries and stuff.

We drove to this McD's during our visit last April; we were staying at ASMo. Just to let you know that the menu is the same as most other McD's but the prices are not. It was more pricey than we had expected. We enjoyed the change of pace from the food court, but just be aware that it is not your typical prices. We did find it funny that we saw a number of AK CM's eating there that evening. Guess they were ready for a Big Mac after a long day of work.

I will ditto the feelings of some of the other posters above--I would not try to walk here from ASMo or ASMu.

We have eaten their. You see the maids walk out that way. Be aware that it closes at like ten. So it may be closed when you get back from park. We like their milkshakes. You can eat at the other All Star food courts some have a few things diffrent. Get off the bus early or late on the way back at a diffrent AllStar. Sometimes one isn't that far if your traveling cross country through resorts.

really cool McDonald's, outside looks like a big happy meal. Lots of neat facts and dates printed on the walls and ceiling as well as pictures of the old-style McDonalds. We eat a lot of breakfasts there.

There is definitely sidewalks from ASSp to McD's all the way. Actually there are sidewalks all the way to BB. Just have to walk though the parking lot to the side walk
