Does anyone know which exits off of I-95 have a McDonald's with a play area (we are traveling from PA to Orlando). These are a must do for our trip to release a little pent up energy!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
It would be helpful with our planning to know where they are located! Thanks in advance!

You can go to the mcd's website-i think it is just mcdonalds.com- and put in your trip info for a list of all the mcd's on your route. It will tell you if it has a playplace and how far off the highway it is.

Stop at the McDonald's on International Drive - it's the world's largest Mickey D's. Not sure of the cross street, but I'm sure the above mentioned website would list it.

I found that McDonald's really disapointing. I found it really dirty, and it's only "large" in the sense that there is a large arcade portion to it. The actual "play structure" didn't do it for us. My DD3 asked to return to the hotel after 5 minutes. :confused3

I could be spoiled. We have relatively large and clean structures nearby. I expected more bang for the slogan of "world's largest."

Anybody else feel this way??

We did this often when DS was little. Another idea that we enjoyed was to go though a drive though a few miles before a rest stop. GEt our food and stop at the rest stop and make it a picnic. Lots of fresh air and room to run around. It takes a little more time than a fast food stop only but it wears the kids out and they chill for a while afterwards!!!

Here goes -

I95 in Virginia - there is a Chik-Fil-A with a great play area right off of ext 156 (head toward Manassas). It's about a mile off of the exit on the left across the street from Target. In the same shopping center there is a Starbuck's and a Cold Stone's as well as a Babies R Us if you need any essentials. There is also a gas station the next lot over from Chik-Fil-A which makes for a convenient fill-up.

Exit 152 also has a McDonald's. Get off heading toward Dumfries. The McD's is about 1 mile down on the right.

Have a great trip!

Erin :)

All along I-95 there are signs at each exit detailing hotels, food and gas at each area and how far in each direction off the exit they are. Most, if not all of the McDonalds we stopped at on various trips had a play area to work off some pent up energy. We allotted a certain amount of time to eat, and a certain amount of time in the play area, with the promise that we would continue down the road and stop at another play area when they were hungry or had to use the restroom again.

Has anyone ordered the I-95 Exit Information Guide ebook before? I ordered it a few months ago and then shortly after I did my laptop broke and I was never able to print the book. Now I have no idea how to access it. The starsystems website doesn't have any email address I could contact. Ugh.
