McDonalds Same price as THE Real World?

If your talking about the one a block off 1 drive the one on Sand Lake its no so good.......Go a few blocks down to the corner of Sand Lake and Turkey and there is a nice one..............

To the guy or gal who wrote the one on 535 is expensive are you talking about the one across the st from DTD......If so thats why.......

We were there in April, and there are no longer any McD's inside the parks. Even the Epcot one is closed. The building is now a snack counter.

Last time we were there, the All Star McD's was about 20-25% higher than a 'normal' one. That means a normally $5 value meal will be about $7. But, at least they had permission to show Disney Movies on the wall of tv's. Don't get that at your everyday McD's.

The McD's on Sand Lake Rd. is mostly for show. They have some food that McD's normally doesn't serve, ie pizza. The entire second floor is a gaming area similar to a Chuck E Cheeses. Other than that, the food quality, selection, and prices are about average.

Like mentioned, the prices on-property are a little elevated from the off-site McD's. However, they are still a better "bargain" than the Disney-owned fast food locations.

The big full McDonald's onsite (Animal Kingdom resort area) is currently under renovation. We found that out the hard way last week. It looks all modern on the outside. It is suppose to reopen by this weekend (May 15th). We ended up driving to the one near Crossroads (love my GPS!)

Don't they still have the nuggets and fry counter at Epcot too? I thought I saw it there last week.

The place at Epcot is no longer McDonalds. Do you know what the Animal Kingdom restaurant is going to be?

Well that's actually a bargain for me since our value meals are $7.49 & up!!!

Does the one at DTD have a 'value' menu? Like a regular burger, chicken sandwich, or small fries for around a buck?

No, the one at DTD doesn't have a value menu. I was just going to post about that. I was there to get my DD a Double Cheeseburger which is usually 99 cents. (Now it's the Double burger with one slice cheese-forget the name?) It was at least $2 :scared1: I mentioned it to the guy taking my order and he went ahead and gave me the employee discount which was great of him. :goodvibes

If you have your own vehicle there is a McDonalds, off-site, not too far from AKL. Take Sherberth Rd South off Osceola Highway and turn right on W. Irlo Bronson. There's a regular McD's on your right. Regular priced menu.

Unless the airport/landlord imposes pricing rules in the lease. Though Miami International Airport (where food tenants are not permitted to charge 10% above local franchise prices) is the only place I know that has this.

Pittsburgh Airport is the same way and was a great place for a hub with its Airmall until USair(ways?) pulled out as a major carrier.

Thanks Dizneydaz! This is very helpful.
