McDonald's coffees

I hear a lot about how good McDonald's coffee is, but since I don't go there I've never tried it. Now I am hearing about the McCafe style coffees. The mochas, lattes, and iced drinks look so good. Has anyone tried them? Are they any good? How are the prices? I love flavored coffee drinks but paying $3 a cup gets pretty difficult.

I don't know about the McCafe drinks, but their regular coffee is delicious!!! Probably the best I've had in a long time. Not too strong, not too weak. Not battery acid like some major chain I know. It's just perfect.

Larak, I did the same thing! The other day they were offerering free drinks so I tried the iced mocha. Dd took one sip and made a face - I took a sip and then drove to the trash can where we threw it out - blech! I was really hoping that they would be good but it is probably a good thing that they aren't. It's bad enough that I am hooked on their diet coke. Their iced coffe is ok too.

Now I just have to get to Starbucks for the pumpkin spiced latte....

well, do not try the caramel iced coffee. it was horrid. I use vanilla caramel creamer in my coffee every morning at home and thought this might be OK. Into the trash it went!

DH loves their coffee. It is his favorite coffee of any place.

I have a coupon for a free Egg McMuffin with the purchase of a McCafe. Although I rarely go to McDonald's, I think I'll have to try it.

This is what my friends tell me. I haven't given up my DD yet. They laugh at my overpriced weak ice coffee.

Did you know that McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts get their coffee from the same roaster -- S & D Coffee? I drive by there on my way to work every day -- the smell is outrageous.

I think McDonald's coffee is sometimes delicious and sometimes not. I'm guessing it's a quality control issue in the restaurants b/c sometimes (particularly if it's not at breakfast), it just doesn't taste fresh.

I would agree that the caramel one is awful - haven't tried any of the others... Their regular coffee is OK - I prefer our local Biggby coffee instead, to be honest....

I like their coffee too. I only get iced coffee from the "other" chain but I like both the hot and the iced from McDonald's.

I personally loved all the Iced Coffee flavors - including the caramel. Did you not like caramel flavoring?

Their iced coffee is like crack; it's my new addiction. Thankfully I can fit the sugar free vanilla flavored one into my diet. Heck, I even had Mickey D's for dinner just so I could get another one!!

Haven't seen or tried the other stuff.

Their regular coffee is pretty good, actually. It's better than Sonic, and Sonic's special coffee drinks aren't so good...

I love their regular iced coffee (no flavors). Yesterday morning I passed up my favorite breakfast joint for Mc'D's because their hot coffee is just so dang good and we had been up since the crack of dawn to attend the balloon races here in town and I really needed a good cup of coffee.

At $2.09 for a large it is hands down the best deal in the coffee world IMO.

I have not tried their new fuufuu coffees. I stick with either the iced or the brewed.

They were just ice cold SUPER STRONG coffee over ice. The mocha was worse than the caramel (which was nasty).
I have had to go back to my regular "pusher" Starbucks...I need my Caramel frappacino.:
