McCain is simply not qualified to be President. He can only handle one crisis at a time, thinks he should be back in DC but is waiting till later tomorrow to go. Is not a man of his word, agreed to a joint statement with Obama but then felt the need to go in front of the cameras and never mention anything about that agreement. Is not ready for a debate, so he is using the economy as an excuse.

Maybe he has never heard of conference calls? Maybe he forgot about that jet with his name on it? Maybe the only way he can get things done is by shouting directly into people's faces?

He just doesn't have the temperment, the patience, or the ability to do the job. He is not qualified.

David Letterman tells audience that McCain called him today to tell him he had to rush back to DC to deal with the economy.

Then in the middle of the taping Dave got word that McCain was, in fact just down the street being interviewed by Katie Couric. Dave even cut over to the live video of the interview, and said, "Hey Senator, can I give you a ride home?"

Earlier in the show, Dave kept saying, "You don't suspend your campaign. This doesn't smell right. This isn't the way a tested hero behaves." And he joked: "I think someone's putting something in his metamucil."

"He can't run the campaign because the economy is cratering? Fine, put in your second string quarterback, Sara Palin. Where is she?"

"What are you going to do if you're elected and things get tough? Suspend being president? We've got a guy like that now!"

This is all quite true, and leads to one ultimate fact.

McCain will not be ready on day 1 to handle all the requirements of a Presidency, nor should the American people have to wait for him to come up to speed on the economy from his friends, if going to war with any and all country's is a goal however, he's good with that one.

Is it true that Obama actually called McCain today and they were to put out a joint statement? But then McCain one upped him and had a conference? That would seem like he's putting political aspirations first and not the Country.

Yes, I admit this is true. I still like to take interest though - when America sneezes, the World catches a cold, so this forthcoming election could directly influence the politics of my country.

But I will admit that there is very little I can do to influence the outcome of this election and that I have less of a right to than those native to the USA.

The fact is that Obama is the one who can't multitask, but instead of suspending his campaign he has suspended his DUTIES AS A SENATOR during a time that one of his own supporters — Warren Buffett — calls an "economic Pearl Harbor." He can't help address this bailout package, because he needs to focus all his energies on memorizing foreign policy facts and figures. He's on vacation in Florida, for God's sake, studying his note cards, while Wall Street burns. Multi-tasking, my ****!
