I am both voting for and see Obama in office.

If you had asked me last election...I would have stated I was voting Democrat but knew GWB would win.

Interesting how the trend on this thread is different from the last time this poll was posted.

On the fence. I have real reservations about both and there are things about both that I really like too.

McCain all the way:thumbsup2 ! Sorry to say, Obama really scares me. :guilty:

McCain-Palin will win. Obama's a radical far leftist with radical leftist associations. The McCain-Palin campaign if FINALLY talking about that. The democrats caused the mortgage meltdown mess. The McCain-Palin campaign (and even Saturday Night Live!) is FINALLY talking about that. Obama won't win — so America will!

I'm for Obama, and I think he'll win. Time is running out for McCain, the polls don't look good for him, and his campaign isn't going to pull out anything we haven't already heard before a zillion times over. Going negative would likely backfire with undecided voters.

If the election were held today, Obama/Biden would win. Things can change in 29 days, and the swift boaters are now out in full-force. I think the American public will see through this desperate ploy though and Obama/Biden will prevail as the winners.

McCain will "wain" and Sarah Palin will be sent off packing to go "Para Salin." :lmao:

I'm hoping for McCain, but I really think Obama will win. I do think it's the Democrats (mostly) who caused this mortgage meltdown, but I think it will stick in people's minds as a Republican problem since they were the ones in office when the ticking time bomb actually blew up. I also think there's a good chance an Obama win will create a lot of conservatives for a landslide Republican win in 2012 (much like Carter's presidency made the way for Reagan's landslide victory).

I think that it will be another Gore, Bush election where a state that only holds 3-5 votes in the college will be the breaker.

Which is why it is so important to go out and vote I do feel it is going to be such a close election but I am quite suprised at the results today.

Obama would have won but its going to be close - Go out and vote!

Your so wrong on oh so many levels.

This is what I feel too. I'm very worried that Obama is going to take this one. I have no doubt that his presidency will be a monumental disaster and the next one will be an easy win for the Republicans, but I'm still petrified about the damage that he will do if he is in office for 4 years. :sad1: I'm sure that there are many people who don't realize what they will get with an Obama presidency. :guilty:

I'm afraid every poll based on proportional representation and on swing state voting intentions say that Obama will win. Sorry.

What evidence do you have that poor old McCain and Palin will win other than you want them to?

Rich::

Gosh, where in the world would I get the idea that polls paid for by various media outlets would be oversampling democrats? That's just crazy! The main stream media wouldn't be, you know, biased in favor of the democrats or anything, would they? Nah, couldn't be. That would be all unethical and stuff. It would be like writing a book celebrating one candidate due to come out on inaugural day, while moderating the vice presidential debate. The media wouldn't be that crazy biased, would they? Nah. Never.

They told us Gore would win. Wrong. They told us Kerry would win. Wrong. They told us Reagan would lose. Twice. Wrong. Twice. They're telling us Obama will win. Really wrong.

Get ready to turn to your friends in tears on Nov. 5 and say, "I don't understand. I don't know anyone who voted for him! The polls all said Obama would win. What happened!?"

I Hope that McCain wins and does a great job and Republican wins next year but I think Obama will win This one and republican wins next 3 elections.
