He was a Muslim (not something to hold against a person, but yeah, he was one! LOL)
He is all for abortion and gay marriage. Both really bad things. I mean, if you don't want a baby, then give it up for adoption, don't kill it, it'll haunt you for the rest of ur life. And as for gay marriage, well, God didn't make anyone gay, so there shouldn't be any gay people.

It's funny. All the reasons you listed are why I'm FOR Obama.

1. So what if he was a Muslim? It wasn't ALL Muslims that flew the planes into the Twin Towers, it was ONE (or three, if you count the people flying them). Does that really give anyone a right not to like ALL of them?

2. I honestly don't believe that abortion is right if a person is doing it just because THEY were irresponsible, but considering the fact that it is THEIR body that would have to go through child birth and be put at risk, what right does some complete stranger who doesn't know their situation have to say they can't do it?

3. I'd like to know, does anyone have PROOF that God didn't make people gay? Did you ever ask him if there might be a REASON they were gay? In Person? No? Then no one as the right to deny anyone, gay or straight, the right to get married to someone they love. Period.

So yes, I'm voting for Obama. Not that my vote will really count anyway, considering I live in Texas and almost everyone here are EXTREMELY conservative. I can't stand it. I wanna go back to Cali.

Obama said that if something bad was happeneing he would go back and sit with the muslims or something like that. And he was brought up a muslim, just like the people who were flying the plane that crashed into the twin towers. I take 9/11 very seriously because i live an hour away from NYC. Really, when you bring these subjects up, you need to watch what you say. Yes, I am offended by your comments now.

Abortion? Okay, take this scenario. The mother became pregnant, shortly after she found out she had cancer and refuses chemotherapy. The mother births the child, a healthy baby, but in the process dies because the cancer spread and it is now untreatable. Are you implying that the baby, as it grows through life, won't have to live with the fact their mother died solely because it (as in the child) was in the womb?
It's the same situation, what do you propose happens then?

As for the homosexual comment, Ignoracy does no one good, and yes it is ignoracy as there are solid facts that homosexuality is related to chemicals in the brain.

Being a Muslim is something bad? Was is the keyword, meaning he no longer is. Everyone deserves a second chance, no?

i would, personally, vote for McCain.
there has been many instances that Obama has lied. once, he was the only one who voted FOR keeping living children the rights to food and water to kill them. its in the records of the state of Illinois. When asked about that, he flat out lied. if he will lie now, how can we trust him when he gets into office?
and, when he is asked questions by the press, he gives many different views, then just says he cant give a definate answer.
He's just good at giving speeches.

but, yeah, McCain has his many negatives too. there, more likely than not, better choices than these two.....

By your logic...gay people don't exist. You believe, as a Christian (Catholic, Protestant, Presbyterian, Baptist, Lutheran, whatever) that God created all people. Are gays not people? Give them, heck, give ME, the chance to get married to the person I love, regardless of gender. Civil marriage =/= Holy Matrimony. If I had a nickel for every time I've said that on these boards, I'd buy the White House.

For abortion, if a woman is raped- brutally so, and becomes pregnant by her attacker, should she have to live with the emotional burden that this child is the product of a monster? Should she have to live for at least 9 months with a constant reminder of her horrific incident.

To conclude, I have one sentence for you:

surprise, surprise, my history teacher marked me tardy after i came in 1 second late (and he told me i was exactly one second late), even after he saw me walking up and down the hall looking for his class. They only bashed Obama/Biden, never talked about the economy or health care (that I saw), and kept repeating the old "McCain was a POW! He is the best!" shizz. Now I'm sorry, but being a POW doesn't make you any better, bashing your apponent blatantly makes you look immature, and not talking about what you're gonna do in office is just stupid.

I've noticed that too. Even on the commercials, all McCain does in his are bash Obama. But what does Obama's do? They state what he believes and stands for.

It just goes to show, just because a person is older and 'has more experience', it doesn't necessarily mean that they are more mature and able to handle situations as such.
