McCain agrees with Murtha about Penn.

McCain was sure confused on that one. It is funny. :lmao:

That's weird. I'm looking at Fox news website right now and not seeing anything about that. Oh, it's a link to a blog. I see.

I felt kind of sorry for McCain when I saw that on CNN. It could happen to anyone. I've done a lot of public speaking and have said some strange things. I said "sex" instead of "six" and I had an entire crowd of freshman college students giggling.

O.k, the fact that I felt sorry for him didn't stop me from chuckling though.;)

Yes the link to a VIDEO showing McCain speaking is so not credible...

Wow! Not the smoothest speech. He's no doubt tired but it DOES remind me of W speaking. "Ya fool me can't get fooled again"

Where did I say anything about credibility? I was wondering why I couldn't find it. And I have to wonder why, if this is really what it's being portrayed to be, it isn't all over the news.

When I found it on the FOXnews website it was on the main page, if you dont see it all over the news... I cant help you, maybe they are biased.

I get plenty of hits when I search for "McCain agrees Murtha", but maybe it is just my internet.

LOL...obviously (I hope) the man had a slip of the tongue:lmao: Not supporting the McCain ticket but it's pretty obvious he didn't mean that:rotfl: It was pretty funny how quiet the crowd got:rotfl: Anywho, being from Pennsylvania, y'all have to excuse me now while I go skin dinner and wash my hood:banana: ;)

Nice to see you keeping up with the humor.

Oh. I'm so sorry. I didn't realize this was supposed to be a joke. My bad.

No need...

Just making fun of the MANY MANY political threads about non-issues, not like anyone really felt McCain meant to agree with Murtha... But it was funny, to me anyways.

PS
inside joke
ANYWAYS
ANYWAYS
ANYWAYS

:rotfl: The crowd was cheering him on, then he said "I couldn't agree more".
Happened Tuesday at my school.(which, I think was named after someone who went to debtors prison, not a great name for a business school)
The students joked around yesterday about his facial expression when he realized what he did.
For a brief moment he could not figure out where his applause went.

No, just nice to see that you keep your sense of humor about some of the comments that have been made. REALLY, not hating.

Oh, OK...I'm a visual person and unless you toss in some smilies, I'm not sure of your intent:rotfl: Like I said, I am not voting for McCain but that was funny, poor guy...he's going to be watching that and slapping himself in head:rotfl: "Cindy...what the hell did I say that for????" :rotfl: BTW, I don't skin dinner nor do I own a hood;) but I'm also from southeast Pa:)

I saw a clip of that slip up - and it obviously was a slip up - but on the same channel there was another clip where McCain got confused saying the words "run" and "cut" and they had to bleep out the unfortunate combination of those two he came up with. God, I would hate to have that mistake played out forever on YouTube!!! Especially in light of the fact that there were rumors he had called his wife that once in public...

Poor John. I saw that and I felt bad for him.

What cracked me up is the look of absolute horror on the guy's face standing over his shoulder...who I think initially thought John was serious. :rotfl:
