MBs with 1-night resort stay booked at 3rd party site?

We're staying at Swolphin for 6 days, but was just now looking at adding a 1-nighter at start of trip at a Disney Resort to get MBs. I found a cheaper room at a 3rd party site than what disney is offering even with their 20% off room deal. Will i still get MBs even if it's only a 1 night stay and if booked at 3rd party? Assume I'll link reservation to MDE.

Also, will they transfer luggage to Swolphin? I know they do vice versa, but just making sure before I book.

You just have to link the reservation and then customize the bands.
