Just wondering how the trip went? Looking forward to details.

Hi Pooksma!! We just got home ahead of the storm...which gave you a storm day to Dis

I'm just trying to make sense of the exploding suitcases in our living room, and decided to retreat to the family room for a little catch up Dis'ing too

Trip in a Nutshell:
Fabulous of course!!
Drive to Portland was fine, Super8 Larrabee Road is super for airport location, a $10 cab ride, but if you just need one cab, they'll pay for it (We needed 2, and just had one room, so we paid for the additional cab fee) great little pool area for the boys, and room was fine.

Crowds were fine week one, we just stayed away week 2 (except for Donny ..and AK was CROWDED by 11am), early week 3 was doable with expert FPing and low expectations

Week one at POP! was just fun. Ran to the Parks every day, swam in the afternoons (the computer pool was the boys fav, the HippyDippy and Bowling ran a close race, but Bowling finished 3rd in popularity and, MVMCP was just - as my mom said - delightful

CP on the 23rd was just...well, it made our trip. Get the Dinner package so you don't have to wait in that looooooooonnnnng standby line. The dinner pkg line lloks long too, but if you have a badge, you'll get a seat ..and right down front, under the overhang - ie, no raining on you! -if you get in the pkg line a little early

Checked out of POP on the 24th and headed to Pongo's Paradise www.floridasparadisevilla.com Even better than the website shows Beautiful home, and the owners are just terrific

Kids were picked for tons of fun stuff, and pixie dust was everywhere - YOAMD is in high gear. Boys received the YOAMD lanyards, Magical moments certificates, pins, ...and every time would make me tear up again!!

Best surprise of the trip - JetBlue!!!
What a great airline We were really prepared for no-frills, DIY kind of thing, but nope...service was great, satellite TV in the seats is fab for the kiddoes, and JFK was more organized despite extensive terminal renos than YYZ

Worth the extra travel time to PWM, Me.
